Has anyone ever been able to "make ends meet" as a retail clerk in a discount store?
It has always been for kids, or to supplement the household income.
This is all about siphoning union dues out of WalMart.
Yep. Wal-Mart is the type of job you take for supplemental income for someone like a farmer's wife or the wife of a self-employed man, for health care benefits, for a single person's second job, or to supplement retirement income.
My hubby had a part-time job at Wal-Mart before we married, when he was paying his ex 80% of his paycheck, and paying for all transportation, 1/2 healthcare and 1/2 any thing else she said out of his 20%. His Wal-Mart job kept him in groceries and gasoline. He was happy working for them, they paid fairly, scheduled his hours around his other job, and had treated him well.
