 Mother Of Four (1,389 posts)

Just got a call from my son @ Walmart

He said it's insane there, people tearing down displays to get to the early door-busters... officers walking the building with three patrol cars out front. He's been verbally accosted at the register four times so far, and pushed once. They aren't doing a walkout here, and they need to.

He called me from the break area, and you could hear him breathing heavy. He's ticked, and told me "I'm hope you're not shopping this weekend, these people are F---ing crazy. One more person touches me and I don't give a sh-t, I'm walking." I told him I'd have his back if that's what he wanted to do. He's working till midnight

He told me "You don't want any of this crap Mama, shop online and just stay inside." I wasn't planning on going anywhere this weekend and his call makes me VERY glad I chose to stay in.

Oh... and he only gets paid 8.05 an hour. Freaking bastages.

Well there were cops, but no bushes, conversions, or applause, so no bongs.  Sorry but that's the rules.

Hey DUmmy your son can walk and quit anytime he wants.  With this great "O" economy he shouldn't be unemployed long.

Self-entitled little bitchboy whines to self-entitled mommy that he's unhappy he has to work for money.
Mommy failed to teach him how to scam/game the system.

Your son has atrocious grammar, and the little shit's a potty mouth, too.   :-)

If he walks, wonder how the next job application will go?

With camera, note pad, press credentials, recorder, and parking off the property.

If this goes the way...it will be historic.

STFU!  It's Black Friday.  Black Friday is the Superbowl for women who love to shop.  I'm sorry, but I worked at Target way back in the day, 2002, and was paid $7.50/hr and worked on Black Friday.  Nobody touched me.  Nobody was rude to me.  The women ran in and did their shopping and then came to the checkout lines in a fairly good mood.

The DUmmies act like this Black Friday thing is something new this year.  ::)

Walmart Strikes Are Going To Have A 'Catch A Fire' Impact

Slave driver, the table is turn; (catch a fire)
Catch a fire: gonna get burn. (catch a fire) Wo, now!
Cute, uses some obscure bebopper song. Sheesh

What those brave striking Walmart workers achieve (or suffer) will send a clear message to other employers around the nation.

Everyone complains, rightly, about the catastrophic consequences of government austerity and 'cliffs', but workers around the nation have been squeezed by a profit-taking business community which fails to adequately invest in their workers; the backbone of their industries and enterprises.

Workers at Walmart, and around the nation are trying to survive working full-time without a living wage, or struggling to find enough hours to survive on. We've driven the majority of Americans to that 'cliff' for years now, while major corporations -- advantaged by tax-reductions that are weighted toward the wealthy -- are turning record profits from the increased 'productivity' of a shrunken workforce into record bonuses and profit-taking at the top. This culture of greed must be challenged from the ground-up with protest actions like the brave Walmart strikes taking place today and in the future.

It's very hard to make a decent living out here for the folks who are lucky to even have a job. We need these protests to succeed and catch a fire around the nation. WE are the engine of our nation's prosperity. SOLIDARITY. Ask a former Hostees employee how that's wotking out for the.

3. Yes. I was on medical leave for over a month for anxiety and high blood pressure... Ya right

Day after my first day back I was jumped onto by my department manager for not doing a good enough job. Probably not doing your job, slacker.

Never went back. Fired your lazy ass, after you mouthed off, didn't he?

This idiot again.

2. REMEMBER EVERYONE - Call ALL of your local WalMarts today and ask if they are open. Didn't work, put it to rest, DUmbass.

If they say "yes", respond "too bad"
If they say "no", respond "good"

We have to support the most abused workforce in the country. Sayeth the entitlement whore.

How much you want to bet all those animals tearing shit down an accosting him are in a very liberal area? I was in Walmart at about 830 this morning and there was no such scene of rampant destruction and such. There was moderate traffic by that time and people said excuse me and helped each other move boxes to see what items were underneath others. No problem. I don't live in liberal he'll though.

Wonder which WalMart that was.  Scoobie and I went to WW this afternoon and saw no such mayhem.

Guess we went to the only one in the world where civilized people shop?  Or are they just your basic DUmmies who as coach says, "DUmmies lie.  All the times, DUmmies lie."
