Sounds like he needs a long vacation working with the Lepers somewhere under the guidance of the church. This man needs a purpose in life, a passion for life for others. He needs to understand that a life in service to others comes back to reward you, a team work to help others is an Adrenalin rush that no drugs can match.
Would take him out of his I am alone feelings to a point of yes I am valuable, others care about me because I care about them.
