Tin-Foil Hat Time: By my count, at least five senior generals

Last edited Tue Nov 13, 2012, 01:59 PM USA/ET - Edit history (1)

and admirals have been demoted, fired or forced to step down just in the past month:

Admiral Charles Gaouette - http://www.predatormastersforums.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2328294
General Carter Ham - http://www.westernjournalism.com/general-in-benghazi-scandal-suddenly-retires/

General David Petraeus (Retired from U.S. Army and currently was serving as CIA Director)

This is truly some scary shit. I'm wondering if we dodged the bullet of a military coup d'etat and, if true, whom we should be thanking (besides President Obama).

The DUmmie may be on to something, but not what they think.

I think this could be a full scale attack on the credibility of the military.  Most Americans have a great deal of respect and admiration for the military.

Quote
For The Military, A Possible Fall From Grace

Although the story so far is of a personal failing, it's possible that the widening sex scandal surrounding retired Gen. David Petraeus will begin to affect the military's reputation as a whole.

"David Petraeus suddenly falling that far off that high a pedestal is feeding into the question: Have we been giving these guys too much of a pass?" says Barbara Bodine, who teaches public affairs at Princeton University.

There's been a decline in respect for other institutions — sometimes, although not always, due to sex scandals, as in the case of the Catholic Church, college football and numerous members of Congress and other politicians.

The military, by contrast, has been seen as highly competent through a long decade of war. The reputation of its leadership — distinct from the errors of some troops in the field — has been solid, insulated to a large extent from outside questioning and accountability.

The broadening scandal involving Petraeus, who left the Army last year to head the CIA, may lead to a recalibration of the terms in which the military is discussed, monitored and regulated by civilian authorities, although there's no guarantee of that.

Step 1. Discredit military leadership

Step 2. Drastically cut military funding

It's what they've wanted for years.

2 wanted to do something about Benghazi, and did some, but were relieved shortly after. (Too close to election and it would ruin the whole "Al Qaeda is on the run" mantra)

2 were involved in a sex scandal (One was NOT in the military, fool).

1 had a penchant for lavish spending on the taxpayer dime. Oh, and he was black, you racist DUmbasses. (Hey, two can play this game).

...but you keep that tinfoil close. Fool.

Every dictator gets rid of top military leaders who do not fully support him.

sounds to me like Obama is going to go full scale Hugo Chavez on us this second term.

Most dictators just have the military leaders killed under mysterious circumstances or outright murdered, but Obama can't get away with that.

This whole thing has me thinking things that are in tinfoil country.

What really pisses me off is, the media couldn't be bothered to discuss what happened in Libya in any detail, yet they are all over the 2 sex scandals.  :banghead:
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

This is my suspicion as well.

Also remember the secret service Colombian sex scandal.  What's up with all these men throwing away a great career for a little tail?

You might want to e'splain what "proctored" means to them, Reb. (Use small words.)  Some of them might think it's one of those tests where they have to get to turn their head and cough, if you know what I mean...  :-)

You can only have sex if you're a lgbtwxyz......or a democrat politician. Otherwise, you're truly screwed.

Seriously, think about it, allowing openly gay people to serve in the military, why? To make the more conservative members uncomfortable and drive them out of the military, that's why. Obama has been culling the more conservative members of the military in favor of the more liberal ones....the ones that will follow and obey him and his orders. There is no place in Obama's military for people with any scruples.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

He reads the polls..he knows that the military voted 2-1 in favor of his opponent.  Hell it wouldn't surprise me if he knows what we type here about him.

He's going to get even with us...that's what I believe.  Punish us for disloyalty.

And by God he's gonna put John F'n Kerry in charge of our ultimate demise.

The military is the last government institution that a majority of Americans still believe in.

You do the math. I'm off to the gun shop.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Can't link the sex scandal to Obummer.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

What's up with all these men throwing away a great career for a little tail?

Men have thrown away great careers, great families, and great lives for a little tail since the beginning of time.

That's one thing that will never ever change.
