An american monarchy not so hard to produce.
« on: November 10, 2012, 03:08:43 PM »
How to have a king over the united states of america.

1.  Produce oddles of laws,  laws on "enviroment", work rules, drug usage, immigration, taxes, war, peace, marriage, life family, business anything under the sun.  (already done with stacks of federal law rules and regulations.

2.   Use selective enforcement.

3.  Relax and enjoy your kingdom.

Congradulations Democrats you did not waste all your time in college you are now masters of us all.

I know...it's a small thing but if you are going to capitalize Democrats could you capitalize United States of America?

Or don't, it's just a small quibble.

Correct me if I am wrong, was it not George Washington that was hounded by his Peers to instate himself as King ???

Did he not piss off some of our founding fathers by refusing to do so ????

Vague memories here of Nixon wanting to change the uniforms of the Capital Guard to a semi English look.  More pomp and circumstances, I was at that time having a baby and not paying attention to the news.  This idea did not fly---for some reason the guard would never look as good as the British Beef Eater wearing a Davy Crockett coon skin hat.

We've already had one. The democrats called it Camelot but in reality it was just the usual democrat cum-a-lot.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin
