Can't even respond my own "Greatest" thread?
Some "alerter" who obviously has problems with me (speak up! Don't hide) claims I'm one of "the most abusive DU members", except for that I rarely get posts hidden. My transparency is hidden though. Hmmm...sounds really abusive. And I frequently wind up with posts on the Greatest page.
I wanted to post a Mea Culpa in my thread, because you're right...I shouldn't have specifically called the poster a douche-bag. But you all know what I was talking about if you read through the thread, and not just my reply. Not one single person in the thread had a problem with my comment about nature "CREATING," as opposed "DESIGNING" sandbars, which was the post that I replied to. I honestly didn't realize douche-bag was against the rules.
I get called on for jury duty about twice a day, sometimes more. My record is pretty much always with the majority. I'm not an outlier as far as DU opinions go. I think I've voted against the majority once or twice in the last hundred or more decisions. And yet, some anonymous "alerter" can derail my thread, a subject I'm quite interested in (as were other DUers, apparently) because he/she has some sort of personal problem with me? Seriously?
The Jury System's biggest problem -- personal, yet anonymous, vendettas.

Would have apologized if he had the chance (sure you would, child).
Notes that he is adamant about walking in lockstep with the other primitives (suck-up).
