"I wish my moderate Republican friends would simply be honest.

They all say they’re voting for Romney because of his economic policies (tenuous and ill-formed as they are), and that they disagree with him on gay rights. Fine. Then look me in the eye, speak with a level clear voice, and say, 'My taxes and take-home pay mean more than your fundamental civil rights, the sanctity of your marriage, your right to visit an ailing spouse in the hospital, your dignity as a citizen of this country, your healthcare, your right to inherit, the mental welfare and emotional well-being of your youth, and your very personhood.' It’s like voting for George Wallace during the Civil Rights movements, and apologizing for his racism. You’re still complicit. You’re still perpetuating anti-gay legislation and cultural homophobia. You don’t get to walk away clean, because you say you 'disagree' with your candidate on these issues." - Pulitzer and Tony winning playwright Doug Wright, in a message now going viral on Facebook.

Spread it far and wide.

Yeah spread it, is the right phrase.

This shit coming from people who not only support, but celebrate the right to murder the unborn are trying to lecture us.

5. Unless they are making more than 250K a year they are even more deluded

than they realize. Mittens plans on RAISING their taxes, not lowering them. The one who lowered their taxes is his opponent, President Obama. But they just parrot the propaganda they have been fed.

Some time ask them just what in Rmoney's plan specifies that their taxes will be lowered. Not his words, his actual plan, and that of his VP choice.. Because we all know just what his words are worth.

Romney is not going to raise taxes on anyone. You morons have bought that lie hook line and sinker. However 0bama has already raised taxes on the poor and the middle class along with the wealthy starting in Jan, because he has refused to keep the Bush tax rates. I know you idiots will try your hardest to blame that on Romney after he is sworn in, but you will not get away with it. Romney had nothing to do with not extending the tax rates, the GOP passed a bill to do so, Harry Reid and 0bama are the reason all our taxes are going up in Jan.

12. Tacit Approval

Every time you get a response like that from a Republican, remind them that even if they are voting for Romney's economic policies (Huh?), they are giving tacit approval to the GOP"s anti-gay, anti-women, anti-minority and pro-theocracy policies.

Ask them if any economic policies could justify the endorsement of the continued hateful platform of the Republicans?

Come on over and remind of that.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

All of the above can be remedied by visiting any County Clerk's office and completing the appropriate paperwork.

As for the rest of that garbage, **** you, you don't get to tell me what to believe, feel, or do.

Everyone of these items mentioned by Doug Wright are items he views as being important and framed in a way that he believes they should be considered.  It's not enough to just say you disagree with liberal policies, you have to say you disagree the way they want you to say you disagree.  Well, that holds no meaning.  I disagree based upon the reasons I do, not in the way you want me to.  If you can only accept people disagreeing on the terms you dictate, then you're in for a long and lonely life, Doug Wright.  You've created your own hell.

OK.  The economy of our country, the employment rates of the poor, young, and minorities, and the debt we're leaving our grandchildren matter more to me (and most people) than your need for acceptance and the fact that you may need a lawyer for a couple things "breeders" don't.

Dummies if you vote for Romneny you will have more spending money to spend at the gay bars. Your new butt sex partner will have a great job with insurance and you both can suck each other into your elder years.

These are the same people who tell you that sending troops in to non-belligerent nations, killing US citizens without due process, drone strikes and wars without congressional approval are war crimes akin to fascist Germany...

They all say they’re voting for Romney because of his economic policies (tenuous and ill-formed as they are, yet still so much clearer than Obama-lama-ding-dong's), and that they disagree with him on gay rights because he might think there is such a thing. Fine. Then look me in the eye, speak with a level clear voice, and say, 'My taxes and take-home pay mean more than your fundamental bogus civil rights, the sanctity of your fake marriage, your right to visit an ailing fake spouse in the hospital who was too lazy and/or stupid to make out a medical care directive but despite that you think it would actually figure out the marriage thing, your dignity as a citizen of this country exemplified by the austere sobriety of your typical gay pride parade, your healthcare so you can get someone else to pay for the horrifying consequences of your aberrant sexual behavior, preferably working families trying to raise human children, your right to inherit because you were too lazy and/or stupid to make out even the most rudimentary preprinted form of a will, the mental welfare and emotional well-being of your youth which is after all so much more special than all the other youth since you have to convert them to your perversion first, and your very personhood although making hoodies out of actual people is really in the 'Specialty fetish' realm more than the GLBTXZ realm, for now, anyway.  It’s like voting for George Wallace during the Civil Rights movements, and apologizing for his racism even though plenty of people did that for perfectly sound reasons, and despite his support of segregation, George Wallace had a lot of redeeming qualities and values people did see and support even if they weren't all necessarily supporters of segregation.

You would be amazed what Medicaid pays for. Desitin, Flinstone vitamins, and other over the counter products. Some parents had a fit when Medicaid quit paying for Pedialyte.

Parents actually are taking their kids to the doctor (using Medicaid) for diaper rash, and getting an Rx for Desitin with several refills. The taxpayers pick up the tab.

Quite easy, STFU.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

Lighter up turd burglar.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Spread it far and wide.

I've seen the bolded claimed many times on DemocratUnderground.com, and I don't understand it. I've visited many, many friends in the hospital. I've not been married to any of them. None of the times have I been told, "It's good thing you're not letting him pound you in the ass because then we wouldn't let you in to see him." I never even been asked my sexual preference. All of this causes me to wonder just what these Democrats are doing to cause a hospital to prevent them from visiting their pretend 'spouses'.
“Don’t vote for the person who tells you you deserve something. Just don’t do it if it’s something other than life, liberty, or the pursuit of possible happiness. If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe
