I told my friend something that floored him today re Dubya vs Romney

I worked in big pharma long enough (23 years) to know that CEOs do not necessarily make good or effective leaders - and in fact, what they probably did to get themselves to where they ended up stripped them of any true respect that I had for them.

So I told him something that he thought he would never hear - that to me, Romney is WORSE than Bush. Hear me out before you jump on me for this....I thought that Dubya was a terrible terrible leader, probably lousy at every job he took or did - in fact, his failure as president was fully predictable from his previous history. But he was not the brightest bulb or particularly ambitious - I think he was enabled/cosseted by his family and used by Rove, Cheney at al.

Romney, on the other hand, to me, knows exactly what he is doing. He craves power and wealth, exudes greed. He is a bad CEO that would make not only a lousy president, but a dangerous one - even more dangerous than Dubya.

so that, to me, is the tale of two CEOs - one a failed president, the other a potentially catastrophic one that just must be beaten. None of us want to behold and live through the disaster of a Romney presidency.

My friend said "you loathed Dubya" and I agreed - but I guaranteed him that I loathe Romney even more.

They really are delusional, we have seen the disaster that 0bama has brought on us, and they dare say that Bush was a failure. Compared to 0bama the Bush presidency was the golden years.

4. I agree

Too much of Nixon in Romney.

More like too much of Nixon in 0bama, he has an enemy list like Nixon did for Pete's sake.

Tons of posts about Romney is a liar, meanwhile they defend every lie that 0bama spews on a daily basis.

I'm a peace loving person. Only bullies inspire me to feelings of violence.

Someone hits me, I will most likely hit them back.

Someone beats on another person in my presence and I'll intervene.

*ush made me mad. It broke my heart that his stupidity cost lives, but I agree that Robme KNOWS exactly what he's doing and he's doing it on purpose. He's more dangerous.

Definitely.

Call the secret service, she wants to punch Romney!
Hey if the DUmmies can call for Romney's son to get a visit from the secret service for saying he wanted to punch 0bama, why should this DUmmy be able to get away with it?

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

I knew it...I knew it. He isn't even President yet and they are "misremembering" their vile hatred of Bush.

North Raleigh is a relatively-expensive part of town.

I'm guessing his wife was the one bringing home the bucks, because this guy sounds like an idiot.

Transition period from BDS to RDS.
It will make the full swing on 7 Nov.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Generals don't make good leaders either. Only a lying DUchebag community organizer can make a good leader.  As we all have come to learn that leading is really following from the rear.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

To them a community organizer who worked for ACORN, and never had a real job in his life, makes a better leader than someone who has an MBA, and was a CEO of a very successful company for many years. They are absolutely brain dead.

Their exaggeration is exhausting.  It doesn't sound like he "floored" his acquaintance.  Any more than the other thread "scared the crap out of the conservative" African American gentleman.

The only way a liberal can floor a republican is to start telling them what they think. The republican will then be floored from laughing at their stupidity.

What is so hilarious is the fact that Bush gets to take credit for the horrible economy created by the democratic congress of 06', yet he gets no credit for keeping any other attacks from happening after 9/11, or from bringing us out of a recession in 2001. Whilest Obama gets credit for destroying al-queda even though we were attacked again on 9/11, and Fort hood before that; and then he gets credit for fixing the economy when its gotten worse since his inauguration.
Excuse me if I prefer President Bush. (not "Dubya")

Yeah.

I'm really tired of this meaningless crap about "the mess George Bush left."

From 2001 until 2007, things went pretty damned good for this country--when the Republicans had the White House and both houses of Congress.

Beginning in early 2007, after the Democrats took over Congress, things went to pot.

Yeah, sure, Bush still had two years to go in his presidency, but he was a lame duck, on his way out, and so nobody paid attention to what he wanted--the usual and typical fate of any two-term president his last two years in office--because Bela and Harry were running the show.

Anything that happened after January 3, 2007, is the Democrats' fault.

This stupid shit, "the mess George Bush left" is just that.

If he craves wealth (which he already has so I guess this ****ing idiot without an ounce of common sense or logic hasn't figured out yet) then why the hell would he run for president? Compared to what he could make in the private sector, a president's salary (which, if history repeats, he won't even accept) is a pittance. He could go back to Bain, start a new hedge fund company, buy GM and relegate that stupid electric car and greedy union onto the trash heap of history or, as George Soros did in England, set up a situation that will make him even richer by breaking American banks and hurting the poor and middle class. Or, just cozy up to 0bama and collect some of those billions in federal funds that's been passed out to his cronies as political payback.

Why would he turn down his governor's pay? Or the Olympics? Or spend 15 years volunteering at his church full time? So if this DUmmie's friend (and all the other DUmb shits responding to the thread) believes this nonsense then they're more logic challenged than this incredibly stupid DUmmie.
