Good News: Scones! From Walmart!

I bought a container of blueberry scones from the bakery section at Walmart.  They are very good.  Yummy good. 

I just finished three scones with two patties of Jimmy Dean's Sausage on the side.   And a big cup of Yuban.

I bought my dad a bunch of cheese, apple, raspberry danish from Costco. They look sooooooo good.   :hyper:

Scones-------First time I ever heard of them things was as a kid reading a comic book where Scrooge MC Duck sent Donald and nephews on a hunt to steal the recipe of his favorite scones.   

What the heck are these, so I got faithfull Grandma to make up a batch-----First and last time I ever ate one, did Grandma forget to put in some sugar ????  Is Scones another word for hard tack ?????

Forget your scones. Everyone knows the best desserts come from those small Cuban bakeries. You get a box and spend like $20 and they just fill them up with things you've never heard of.

Scones are not sweet.  They are meant to be more a biscuit than a muffin.

I know it is hard to imagine the appeal since they are not sweet.  Scones have a unique quality.
