I like my boys' teachers (non-Bouncy)
« on: October 22, 2012, 05:02:59 PM »
This afternoon, my brilliant, handsome, and talented twins (Thing 1 and Thing 2  :-) ) were talking with me, and a news promo came on the TV about the debate.

"Oh, yeah, our teachers were talking about that in class," Thing 1 said.

I enquired as to who, if either one, their teachers were voting for.

"Romney" said Thing 1. "She said there's a lot of things that Obama's done that will hurt her family." (As an aside, for the lurking members of the Democrat Party who post at DemocraticUnderground.com that actually make these things an issue, Thing 1's teacher is a Hisanic female.)

"Mine, too," said Thing 2. "He said he doesn't make that much money, and what Obama's doing will make his insurance go up. And he can't afford it." (Again for the lurking members of the Democrat Party who post at DemocraticUnderground.com that actually make these things an issue, Thing 2's teacher is a man reaching retirement age.)
Two great civics lessons they've had. Now I feel better about their ejimacashun.  :-)

Which way would those same teachers have voted in 2008, do you think?

And how did your twins end up with the names Thing 1 and Thing 2?  :-)

:lmao: With all the lurkers around, I'm not putting their names out there.

The male teacher I'm pretty sure voted McCain in 2008. The woman, prolly wanted hope and change.
