primitives promote rope-a-dope strategy

Wait a minute, DU!! I take back everything I said. President Obama has a BRILLIANT strategy...

Poker: Don't let your opponent see your hand too early.

I think I'm changing my mind on this. I'm thinking the president is playing chess.

Now that I've thought about it more, I think the president is playing poker.

Maybe Obama is saving the fight for the LAST debate.

And I was discussing the strategy with another friend of mine.

Everyone was saying that Mitt Romney would win this first debate. Everyone basically lowered the bar for him.

I believe that Obama DELIBERATELY did poorly because he know that no matter what he did, he'd lose.

He will go back, take Robme's words and use them against him for the FINAL debate, which will be the economy again.

I think I see a strategy here. I'm trying to understand. I hope that the voters don't become demoralized. I'm guessing that this is what is going on.

---

What is Mitt Romney preparing for?

1. Bain
2. The 47%
3. Taxes

Why didn't Obama go after Mitt on these central issues?

Because Obama can STILL use them in commercials. And use Mitt's words from THIS debate against him in ads!!!

I think I got it!! Others are catching on.

You take away the arguments if you bring them up TONIGHT.

Several threads saying the same thing on the island, I just chose this one as an example.  Of all the excuses, it's my favorite.

I believe way too often we underestimate the shear stupidity of the primitives.  But it really takes a special level of stupidity to believe that Dear Leader intentionally wanted to look like an idiot in front of the whole country as part of a strategy to come back later.

Yes, it's all ropeadope, poker, and chess.  Over and over.  Oh and Big Bird.

At any rate,

What the hell is wrong with Bain Capital and why is it a central issue?  Taxes:  He lawfully paid them, and overpaid them as well.  We all know what the 47% meant.  If zero had brought those up, you would have seen an even uglier reaming.

Really, DU ?

If you are right, then Obama deserves to lose the election, regardless of what one may think of him. Why ?

Debate victories = MONEY.

Money = CAMPAIGN FUNDS.

Oh gawd......

They're back to the 20 dimensional, 60 level, time warping, Grandmaster-of-the-Gods, chess crap. :whatever:

Really, idiots?  I don't remember Spock ever having that look on his face.

Liberals just cannot take responsibility for anything they do wrong.  I expected nothing less.  While predictable, it's always fun to watch.

Yes.  According to the (D)Ullards, teh Won was going to play 35 simultaneous games of chess against the collected Grandmasters of the World, while doing some poor persons' laundry and preforming open-heart surgery......during the debate; in which Romney would shrink to infinity and evaporate in a puff of smoke.

Oh bummer, idiots.  Didn't quite turn out that way, now did it?

<sarc>Better luck next time! </sarc>

I should have seen this before! All the "and"s, "ahhhhs", "errrrs", and "uhhhhs" are just proof that Wile B. Obama is a Super Genius. I get it!
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
