Yeah about that, no.

I live in rural America where the school is locked and there is only one way in - a door under surveillance camera, locked, and you have to be buzzed in.   

The students practice lock down drills with local law enforcement several times a year (all schools in MA do). 

Large urban high schools are all locked also, with police officers on duty.  We have a full time police officer at our high school also.

Can they do it? sure.  Is the staff prepared?  yes.   Students are also.

I hope and pray it never happens but they will do it. And when they do, cook the bastards and feed 'em to the hogs. Send them to Allah as hog shit...that's all that they are anyway.

If terrorists ever target our schools, woe to the muslims in this country. They would be wiser to move out while they could.
9-11 woke us up. Afghanistan and Iraq fell as a result.

What would the consequences be for something like this? wake up a sleeping giant at your own peril.

Preparations for one type of emergency can be a deathtrap in another.  A discussion of exactly why is something I won't go into on an open forum as murderous scum could read it and get ideas.
