I'm not boasting of any virtue here, because there's no virtue in doing what one should do, only in going beyond what one should do.
When buying clothes at a church garage sale, and the total is, say, $7.64, like it was the last time, I give a $20 bill and tell them to keep the change.
I'm sure the flea-market primitives would try to haggle the $7.64 down to a dollar.
