Sad news.  Condolences to his family. :(

If O doesn't send a legitimate, personalized letter of condolence (and not signed by autopen), at a minimum, that will be very telling of what his opinion of people who serve the public is. Failure to at least recognize that this man was providing security for him so he could campaign would throw light on his "I'm for the little guy" persona.

That being said, RIP Officer.

the article said;
Quote
White House press secretary Jay Carney said the president didn't see the accident, but he was notified of the officer's death and said "our thoughts and prayers are with the officer's family."

Was this Carney's words or obamas words.."our thoughts and prayers are with the officer's family."

If they were obama's words then you have all you're going to get from him.

I will pray for him and his family.

If Bush was still in office and that happen. The MSM and MSNBC would be pushing to have him brought up on vehicular manslaughter charges.

It is very sad...People should pay attention to their driving and quit gawking when they see flashing lights. They can usually read about why they had flashing lights in the paper or on the news later, no need to add to the reason for them.
