The US Postal Service (while we still have it)

I just ordered some stuff online and had a choice about who I want to deliver it, and I chose the USPS.

If any of you are ordering anything, I wonder if it helps the post office if we step up and have them send our orders...

1. I did the same the other day - it could have gone UPS or Express USPS - I went with USPS.

3. USPS also delivers Express Mail on Sundays.

I don't think anyone else does.

2. Good idea, and what's more...

All those checks sent to pay bills? How are they going to get to all those banks and utilities and credit card companies without the USPS? And how are all those corporations going to get bills to their customers? The Republicans need to think about the effect shutting down the USPS will have on business.

4. I love it and my carrier

Switched from UPS years ago, primarily due to Sat. delivery. Even though that may disappear, will still choose USPS first.

They are reliable and customer friendly in my experience. Love that they employ vets. Love that when my neighbor informed my carrier that my back was so bad, I couldn't walk down the hill to collect the mail and that she would be out of town and couldn't do it for me - he brought it up to my door.

People complaining about USPS do not know whereof they speak IMO.

5. ultimately...

The best thing we can do is clean house in the House.

How in the hell can a Political party that is against the vast majority of the population win elections?

Is America too corrupt or too stupid?

My hope that neither is true is waning....

6. Touch Screen Electronic Voting Machines.

The Republicans own them. The Republicans program them. The Republicans tally the votes. The Republicans work real hard to get the right people in the proper places to make the votes look legitimate.

The Royal Crown Cola primitive's comment just came out of the blue, unrelated to the topic, but one wonders.

Democrat party machines own the blue cities.  The Democrat party machines votes for the residents of those blue cities, with or without their permission (or in case of the cemeteries, without their knowledge).  The Democrat party machines count the votes.  The Democrat party machines work really hard to keep the numbers what they need to be, not even bothering to make them appear credible.
