Tin foil moment

or are they cleaning the rolls in Cali?

Ok we send for absentee ballot applications, since we are in hawaii, but still California residents (Hubby in the Armed Forces)

The Registrar of voters sits on it for oh until it is too late to demand an explanation... aka the deadline for absentee is tomorrow. (today for some of you)

Instead I get a voter registration which tells me that I am not in the rolls (but wait there is more, my adress in Cali got the material for the election and I voted last General Election)

On this basis I can say that I have been disenfranchised (yes contacting the ACLU tomorrow) and that Arnie will win by a landslide.

Can we all say Florida II?

Nads, why would a Republican disenfranchise a member of the armed forces?  I am so confused.

the first step it to contact the ACLU.

Now I have been in oposition to this Administration since
February and yes I am one of those people who came to this
country from places where this does happen... and worst.

In February I was expecting oh a visit from the feds, since I have
been writing email to congress and all that.

Hence this just raised the level of paranoia.

Taht said, this is the kind of shit that happens in OTHER
COUNTRIES and will only happen here if WE ALLOW IT.

And I uzed to have contacts with local media in San Diego when I
worked EMS... but they have since moved on.

14. Way after the deadline

I will call the ACLU tomorrow, also this is San Diego
County, and it smells of FLORIDA to me.

Now if this is an isolated incident (and I do pray it is),
and somebody goofed, ok, I can live with it and will re-register as soon as we get back home after my hubby retires or just send in the paper work NOW, since they were nice enough to send that.

And yes I will check the status of that list before the GE.

Now the test will come when the October 7th mess comes and goes...
and if peoople show up at the ballots and they are not in the rolls,
as it happened in Florida, this may be a preview of that.

That is why I am calling the ACLU tomorrow.

   I am bored already.

9 years ago, you could somewhat UNDERSTAND Nadinese, and deduce its meaning without $10,000 of classified and experimental electronics to translate her ramblings.

Today, not so much.

Maybe she tripped over one of those arcing crunchy dots while crossing the rubicon one too many times.   :mental:

1. The news is filtering to Iraq

read the letters posted by Moore, by the way, GOOOD JOB

My husband is about to retire, he is a USN Chief, and this is
unoficial, the armed forces are very divided about this, but
Rummy is not a favorite subject of talk and... we cannot stand
to watch Bush in this household...

He cannot wait to join me on the front lines of this war, when he finally is RETIRED...

Oh and have them share this with the retired community, we need to get them on our side, the national securty voter that is.

I intend to get that movie as soon as I am back in California, hmm

Might just order it and have it shipped to that adress

Imagine all the damage I can do if I take the portable DVD to univerity campus and other places for teach ins with that movie?

I just thought of something - Nads and the whole Valerie Plame story.  Oh what fun awaits us in those threads.  My next research project (I am a self-trained historian).

Didn't nads just post her husband (that must be the biggest *****-whipped wimp in history) just completed the police academy.  Trust me, an old guy would never make it through the physical part.

Busted in yet another lie.
