Yesterday: My Legion post picnic.

Today: Irish Fest at the Irish American Irish Center in Chicago

My wife will drive us in her Honda CRV. Smaller vehicle than my Ridgeline (took it 2 years ago), easy to park.

We had lunch with the drummer from the Sandcarvers. We've heard them at the Gaelic Fest, too. The drummer is from Milwaukee.

We missed Kennedy's Kitchen by one day. The Sandcarvers followed them, had never hear them, and loved their music. No video from this year yet. John Kennedy and I know each other, but just by sight.

There were a lot of other performers when we were there, but none of them "hit our buttons". There was a group named Dyed in the Wool that was great!

Thanks, Hon. Oh, I'm around but don't post much any more. 'Sides, I'm really swamped with my Legion Post's vets' hospital things, other posts' Coast Guard flag bearer (none of them have any Coasties as members), vets' funerals, and now I'm Judge Advocate for my post, with a really big issue of embezzlement from the post by a former commander.
