One point needs to be made perfectly clear.
President Obama did not create the mess we are in.
You may argue that he has not done enough to get us out of it. Or you may argue that he did the wrong things to get us out of it. But you cannot argue that he got us into it.
I can see the media and the Republican Party slowly propagating the false impression that Barack Obama got us into this mess and we need to put the Republicans in charge to clean it up.
We have to keep them honest.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/1002900309Okay Kentuck let's try this explanation, you get hired to clean up an apartment after a move out, the place is trashed, carpets need replaced, walls need to be patched and painted, and so forth. You come in and don't take out the trash, you don't replace or even clean the carpets, you knock more holes in the wall, and add to the trash pile in the living room. You slap some paint on the walls and demand praise for the improvements. Did you create the mess? No of course not, but you didn't clean up the mess and you added even more to the mess. Not even a coat of paint makes it look any better. Should we give you another 4 years to clean this apartment?

3. Are we a Monarchy?
I'm tired of all of the emphasis on Obama.
I want to talk about the more or less worthless congress we have-- and yes, that includes numerous
so called democrats.
Congress crafts the legislation, congress pays for legislation, not the POTUS.
Considering 0bama can just not enforce laws on the books, we are heading towards a monarchy.

7. I'm really sick of hearing about the jobs numbers, no matter which way they swing!
The fact of the matter is we live in a democracy with multiple branches of government. Congress has not done shit to assist the people of this great country, and we all know why.
Congress should be hammered for this! I should look and see how it compares to the original do nothing Congress.
How many bills did Reid put in the circular file? Damn near every single one that congress passed, including 2 budgets. It's the do nothing senate.
