Went to see Prometheus this afternoon. This is the true sequel to Alien.

It's not the prequel ?
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Is it worth seeing?

I saw it last night in 3D.  I'd call it a prequel.  I'd say it's worth seeing--very cool visually.  Not as good as Aliens as far as non-stop action and desperate life-or-death situations.

I think I will wait for it to come out on PPV.

I would see it on the big screen. I saw it in 3D and I don't think you need to do that. I called it a sequel because it felt more like Alien to me than any of the other follow ups. Not as good as the Avengers by any stretch but it was really good.

Almost everyone on IMDB hated it. And it has a few flaws but over all, a grand experience.

I saw this today with a friend and we both enjoyed it.  I liked that they are exploring the story behind the creation of the aliens instead of it just being an action movie.  It was sad to see Charlize Theron get squashed, I love her long time.
