ROCHESTER — Former Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter will formally enter the race today to challenge freshman Republican Rep. Frank Guinta for her old seat.
Guinta rode a Republican surge in 2010 to beat Shea-Porter, of Rochester, who served two terms in office before she was ousted in the election.
Shea-Porter is scheduled to visit the Secretary of State's office in Concord at 10 a.m. today to file papers to run for New Hampshire's 1st District seat, according to an announcement released by her campaign.

A local story, but a telling one. This chick is the moonbat's moonbat. Professional shit-stirrer and flatlander (lived in New York most of her adult life.) She hitched her wagon to the, "I hate Bush" crowd in 2006 to get elected and the Obama star in 2008 for reelection, but can't understand how she got beat by nearly 15 points in a district that is D+2. And this is a woman who was pretty commonly known as Carol Che-Pelosi.
If she's the best the Democrats have to offer here, and is representative of the swing district challengers on the Democrat side, this is gonna be a laugher for Guinta, who by all accounts is a pretty popular and effective legislator. I wonder if she's going to "give permission" for people to ask her questions like she did when she was in Congress, or just have the Masshole union thugs sit in the front row and try to browbeat her constituents?
