A bumper stick question(s) for the DUers
« on: May 27, 2012, 06:04:58 PM »
I saw a truck today with two bumper stickers.

One read: I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.
The other read: I'll keep my God, my freedom, and my guns. You can keep the change.

It looked like the driver was a black guy. Based on the bumper stickers, especially the second, I would have to assume that the owner of the truck was not a democrat or Obama fan. So is the driver

a) just someone who borrowed the truck? If so, why is he friends with a fundy rethug?
b) someone who stole the truck? If you automatically think this aren't you giving in to racial stereotypes?
c) a black man who is a normal American that sees that Obama and democrats are a danger to the republic and uses bumper stickers on his truck to voice his opinion? Or since he doesn't appear to be an Obama fan would you fall back to your standard MO of calling him a racist who hates people of color?

If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe

The truck was obviously stolen because the Republican party has left minorities in this country with no viable economic alternatives. </DU>

I guess it depends on the driveway the truck lives.

In my neighborhood, if you look around at all, you see fannie side of vehicles.

You know..."Insured by Glock" and whatnot.

To me it seems to be a warning like "go away, I'm packin heat".

It's probably his truck, beyound that I wouldn't know.

He was being sarcastic. He figured the guy driving the truck was the owner.

It makes one feel good when people know them well enough that they can tell when it's sarcasm.

Thanks BEG.

I'll keep my God, my freedom, and my guns. You can keep the change.

That is on my beater truck in case a mostly peaceful leftist decides to be brave when I'm not around.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
