in fact I thought if it was true it was not against the rules to offer criticism any more than it would be to offer praise for something good that were equally true (feet must be massaged only, no holding to the fire allowed)

I was incorrect, we have to lie or ignore the bad, our leader must always be agreed with, no question, just like Bush was to freepers.

Are you suggesting that the majority of DUers want to keep their precious little heads in the sand?

I've not seen that to be the case. DUers are generally too intelligent and too well informed to tolerate a single rah rah view of all Democrats regardless of the facts that surround them
