1- He's life insurance for Obama.

2- Obama can say, "Look how bright I am compared to this idiot."

Obama is a narcissist. He will NOT have a competent man in a number two slot.
Bubblehead Biden will not be replaced. Certainly not by Hillary, or anyone else who could challenge Obama.
Lord O will not have anyone who can outshine him for any reason.

I'm hoping that my list will eventually be long enough to include half the words in the language, which would shed some light on the absurdity of censoring civilized speech.

While I couldn't come right out and point to it with hard evidence, ah bleeve this sort of thing is relatively common in institutions and organizations.

You could definitely see this practice in the premier service bands. The next guy named to command that band often could not exhibit the same leadership abilities (conducting skills) as the predecessor.

The overall tendency is simply this - the top guy absolutely can't stand somebody superior to him/her in terms of intellect, carrying power, competence, and leadership ability. After all, there is the top guy's "legacy" to consider, safeguard, and protect -- at ALL costs.  :whatever:
