Vote counting should go rather quickly Tuesday night, May 15.

As it usually does in red places, as compared with corrupt blue places.

I anticipate it'll be done and over with by 10:00 p.m. central time; the polls close at 8:00 p.m. central time in the eastern two-thirds of Nebraska, 7:00 p.m. mountain time in the western one-third.  No "early release" of votes in Nebraska; the polls have to be closed in the entire state before precincts can report.....to anyone.

The quickness of the count's helped too by that there's only one single competitive race in the Nebraska primary, that for the person to take over Ben Nelson's (D) seat.  There's three major Republicans running, and the vote seems pretty much split three nearly-equal ways.

Besides the race for Ward 1 City Council in Bellevue, that'll be the only race of interest in this state.

I think Big Steve has reconsidered his strategy.  Instead of being in the race, he'll be the guy bitching about the people that are in the race.  Only problem is that his only media outlet is DU.  Epic fail Steve, good luck next time.

www.electstevedawes.com

I'm still worried about something, though.

The race is non-partisan, and so party affiliations aren't on the ballot, just the names.

"Steve Dawes" sounds a rather innocuous name, like that of the local high school history teacher, or maybe somebody who played third-string on the Nebraska football team thirty years ago.  And so some uninformed voters might vote for the big guy unaware of who he really is, because the name sounds "good."

As I mentioned before, it's too bad the big guy's real name isn't Steve Mugabe or Steve Tse-tung or Steve Himmler or Steve Pol Pot or Steve Beria or Steve Chi Minh or Steve Eichmann or somesuch, a name more reflective of who the big guy is.

Big election night blowout at Bear's Bar!
Two tables!
Meet the Big Guy and Dour Sour Marta!
Victory  celebration!
High school girls and mini-tacos!
Yard signs!

Hugs!
And Bitter, bitter tears!

Let nothing frighten you.

Well, Hades, I just got a fourth report from a real-life person really on the ground in Bellevue.

He drove down only one street in Bellevue--but it's the main street near where the big guy lives--and didn't see any campaign signs for the big guy.

One must then regretfully conclude they're still at the printer's, being held up until payment is made, or the big guy stuck them in non-Ward 1 neighborhoods.

Well, you know, the big hairy sweathog was criticized for spending nearly all his campaign money on newspaper inserts and the Big Bear's Bar Blowout weeks and weeks ago, long before normal people in Bellevue even knew an election was coming.

Maybe he's going to correct that error by waiting until the morning of Election Day to plaster Ward 1 with his union-printed yard signs.

It's weird, all these real-life people who usually don't care about Bellevue--it's only a suburb of Omaha, after all--have been making it a point to look around for the big guy's campaign signs when going through.

The big guy's fame appears to be spreading beyond the confines of the internet and Skins's island.

He should stand up in the next city council meeting and give himself a shout out. And then send his supporters to www.electstevedawes.com so they can read all about his exploits in overcoming capitalism and hair gel and such.

Steve would probably be happy to go; but then again, they probably have a 'no neckbeards' policy.

But then again, Steve would have to have a neck to be able to pull off a neckbeard.

I was hoping the big guy would be part of Occupy Omaha on May 1, but instead of carrying a banner advocating tearing down America, he'd be carrying one of his yard signs, to be seen on television.

People who watched the news broadcasts of the occupation said they looked, but no, they didn't see any big guy with a STEVE DAWES sign.  They saw a lot of other signs, but not this one.

Damn.

I must be one of the few that hopes the fat son of a bitch actually gets enough votes in the primary to be on the ballot for the November election.  Seeing him shredded by an opponent who has plenty of time and resources to concentrate on just him would be the gravy on the meatloaf.

I would love to see his opponent take every single unionist, socialist, hate America word that fatass has written and run them down his bearded throat.  It's not like anyone would have to look very far, www.electstevedawes.com has most of it saved for posterity.

No, no, no!

Another six months of the big guy's non-campaign?

It had such great possibilities, a potential run for the Top DUmmy award.

But the big stupid sweaty hairball has turned it into one of the most boring storylines in DUmp history.

He really wanted DOTY last year, and the stars aligned for him this year.

He could have given the crazy bald dwarf a contest, but, alas, his stupid genes are just too strong.

So let's dispose of him on May 16.

No, I say he should be slowly and figuratively flayed for the next 6 months.  Let him be held up as an example to all DUmp democrats that seek to hold elective office by obfuscating themselves to the very people they would represent.

We have their own words, let them be publicly impaled by them.

Big events coming up in May.

The big guy either humiliated or taking his first small step toward 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue on Tuesday, 5/15. (mini-tacos at Bear's Bar)

The sixth anniversary of Fitzmas next Saturday, 5/12. (also mini-tacos at Bear's Bar)

And sometime near the end of the month is the anniversary of the bobbling primitive getting the Bostonian Drunkard thrown off of Skins's island.  I haven't looked up how many years ago, and the exact date, but I'll get around to it.

A lot of things happen on Skins's island in May.

By the way, according to the newspaper, tonight's (Saturday) supposed to be the biggest full moon of the year.

We all know what that means.

Okay, I just looked it up.

It was on May 10, 2010, that the bobbling primitive got the Bostonian Drunkard thrown off Skins's island.

It was on August 7, 2010, that the Bostonian Drunkard alas returned unashamed and as full of chutzpah as ever.

So.....

Thursday's the second anniversary of the Great Expulsion

To be followed next Saturday by the sixth anniversary of Fitzmas.

And then the Tuesday after that is the big guy's big day in Bellevue.
