They're pretty ****ing dull lately.

I keep looking for threads to bring over but apart from all the "agent provocateur!" crap--and I brought that over just because there were so many stories of leftist violence and the excuse was always the same--there isn't really anything worth reading over there. Yeah, I get it: I'm so brain-washed I'll follow anybody...except uber-smart liberals, it seems.

Well, their hero, Elizabeth Warren has herself in no small amount of hot water for claiming in 1986 that she was Cherokee as part of her application to the Harvard faculty. In 1995 she suddenly stopped. Now, after all this time we learn she's 1/32 indian...just a smidge over 3%.

It seems their beloved Consumer Advocate not only defrauded Harvard but also cheated a real native American somewhere of a position meant to lift NAs from the oppressed masses at Harvard...all for personal gain. Let's face facts, Warren isn't getting anywhere in life because she's smart or ethical (her fraud disproves both) or her looks but only because there is some unfathomable mysticism attached to Harvard alumni. IOW: Warren, who is white and non-oppressed, has her credentials wrapped-up in a school where only the well-heeled trust fund babies of 1%ers can attend and she defrauded her way in, at that.

She is the anti-thesis of everything OWS supposedly resents and represents.

Everytime that crone opens her face DU is awash with the oral run-off. They won't shut-up.

But on this they are silent.

They won't defend her. They won't condemn her. They won't even try and blame shift to Sen. Brown.

Yet, this could end-up imperiling Warren's campaign, if not career.

Why is DU so silent, all of a sudden?

She is a liberal. So it is only natural that they would keep their mouth shut about it (It is the same with the fact that they don't want to talk about Obama's college record because they know it will discredit him). Of course if it was a conservative who did that, you would see it on the front page of the NYT, and MSNBC would make an urgent news segment about it.

I heard Rush mention this yesterday. I haven't heard it anywhere else, but then I don't listen to any liberals, live or broadcast.

Anyway, lizzy is probably waiting for a "pity the minority" moment. Then she'll spring it.

You know, I'm really surprised.

I thought for sure the big guy would bring up the matter of his 1/64th Native American ancestry (ignoring the other 63/64ths of himself) somehow in his campaign. 

It's pretty much meaningless, but it's a small detail that humanizes one, much as if franksolich were campaigning for public office and mentioned my 1/4th eastern European derivation so as to get the Carpatho-Ukrainian vote, such as it is, up here on the roof of Nebraska.  A small thing, a trivial thing, but a thing worth at least half a sentence.

That's exactly why people want to go there.  I've known Harvard and Yale grads, they aren't any smarter than anyone else...or dumber, except that the legacies and minorities are larger-than-average dopes but with a very secure sense of belonging to one of the tightest old-boy networks in the world, as big an entree in the business, legal, and political world as being a ring-knocker is in the military world.
