First lady Michelle Obama wrapped up her public appearance at a Girls Inc. luncheon in Omaha on Tuesday with motherly word of advice and hugs for some of the 2,500 gathered at the CenturyLink Center.

She seemed to choke up with emotion as she told the girls and young women to be true to themselves, to believe in themselves and to see themselves as who they want to be. And that should include becoming president, she said, not just first lady.

Attendees said they were thrilled to see her and viewed the event as historical and once-in-a-lifetime.

Me too.  Michelle strikes me as someone who chews with her mouth open and picks food out of her teeth with her fingers.  I don't really need to deal with that when I'm trying to eat.

I see that they had 1 white honkey cracker on stage. Blacks comprise about 15% of the population but you would never know it with the Obama's. It is all about race with them.

 I wonder if Moochele gave those students and that lard ass teacher a little talk on losing weight and dieting. Doubt it. Don't want to hurt their self esteem

I had no idea either. 

I'm in Omaha too.  Coincidentally I was driving around in the area for work (rarely down there, live in west O) and saw all the traffic and a very heavy police presence.  I wondered what was going on, now I know.

I noticed the same thing. I remember when Michele went to the US Open and only brought black kids to it. Could you imagine the shit storm if a white First Lady only brought white kids to an event?
