You know, there's something Freudianly ominous--for the Democrats, liberals, and primitives, that is--about that bumper-sticker.

It uses the (R) elephant, and the zero emblem.

One suspects the Magic One is ditching other (D) donkies to save his own ass.

ACA is a joke and so are most of it's defenders:
- it's funding was based on a lie, 1st the personal mandate wasn't a tax, then as soon as lawsuit were filed it was.
- it's cost estimates were a lie,  the CBO now scores it's cost at 2X what was advertised.  Like another NON-PROFIT organization called MEDICARE we can expect those estimates to continue to multiply.  By the time all was said and done w/ medicare it cost 10x more then the initial estimates. For those math challenged, that would be in the $10T.  For that we could just buy the X million you wanted to save over priced insurgence and still be ahead.
- To get this garbage passed they had to bribe some moderate democrats with "the corn-husker kickback" and the "Louisiana purchase"

Without the LIES, and the KICKBACKS, this never would have passed by one vote. In the first place.  Had they waited 2 weeks for senator Scott Brown to become the 41st vote against it, it never would have passed either, hence the rush job don't bother to read it crap.

Then factor in some more garbage:
- No one really read this junk bill, recall the Pelosi joke "you have to read it to pass it to find out what's in it".  Well now we know and it's a joke.
- How about all of those waivers (over 1500 so far) that have been granted, McDonalds, union buddies of Obama, a large number to Pelosi's voting district, etc.  When counted in humans, not organizations, something like 2/3 of those waivers went to union memberswho already have better insurance than your average American.  translation -- giant vote buying scheme to political friends
- How about the "doctor fix" that isn't ever going to happen.  A recent poll shows something like 75% of doctor's hate this thing.
-- My favorite fairy tail = single payer non-profit system is the way to go.  Kind of like the military's single payer, non-profit system that gave us the $10,000 hammer and the $30,000 B1 bomber toilet seat.  That "single payer non-profit" system has worked out so well for us taxpayers that we want to make another one that constitutes and even bigger percentage of our expense.  Expenses that are still growing at an ever higher rate than BEFORE the ACA.

- BRIGHT SPOT - This did lead to more democratic congressmen losing their jobs in the last 70+ years. Only the great depression ever resulted in a bigger midterm "shellacking". Nothing the other team has ever done has damaged your party of underachievers more
than this single event. It almost wiped out the moderate democrat (aka blue dogs) altogether and those left (Neb, LA, MT, MN) are all expected to lose their contest this fall.  So you cheerleaders please keep on cheering because I'd like
to see you underachievers lose even more

The only morons who like this garbage are the ones who are great philosophical cheerleaders, but who are really bad at math and actually measuring results.

It's hard to argue with the philosophy that we should take care of our old, sick, weak, and stupid.  But it's fairly easy to look at the results of these kinds of efforts and see just how HORRIBLE they perform compared to all the wonderful fairy tales told to garnish support for them.

Dreams and ideals are piss poor substitutes for actual results.  Only liberals (an increasing subset of democrats) think otherwise. Please keep cheer leading your liberal presidents failures (ACA, green energy, pro-union, anti-business, etc, etc) because it's killing your party and the sooner these parasites die off, the better the rest of us will all be.

The last thing I want to hear is these more reasonable, more moderate democrats, do anything but go away.  We need to left to continue going left because the folks on the right aren't all that bright either and for them to succeed we need the bigger idiots on the left to fail miserably.  Should be easy, so lets not screw that up...

OMG! Karin, the comments section is awesome I usually try to read the comments but for some reason I didn't initially with this article:

I especially liked Barney's comment that the "Democrats paid a terrible price for healthcare."  Consider that the Demoncrats en mass declared healthcare a life-or-death issue for the poor that simply HAD to be passed.  Now we hear about the "terrible price" paid for it.  Why, it's almost as though the Demoncrats are now saying that the lives of all those poor people they were trying to help was NOT worth the "price paid" by them politically.

If anything the Demoncrats said was true about the life-and-death nature of the legislation, and that it was the RIGHT legislation, then they SHOULD be saying things like: "I'm happy to lose our party's power position in exchange for all the lives we saved!"  But sadly, what they seem to be saying is, "If we had known how much it would cost us politically, we'd have ditched all those "poor people" in a instant!

I can't believe the democrat party still has any followers at all. Since when is passing a bill so you can read it a ligit form of governing. Taking earmarks in return for a vote when you haven't even read the bill is the most corrupt form of governing. Im in shock anyone can defend these criminals.

My deductible went from $150 to $3000 with the same bi-weekly payroll deduction. Now I can't afford to go to the Doctor either. Socialism = shared misery. The liberals screwed everyone instead of doing something to help out the small percentage of people that need it. Now small business isn't hiring, people are opting out of medical careers, the estimated cost of the law has at least doubled, so yeah. I will vote for anyone without a "D" by their name. And I'm a single parent of 3 teens and not rich. And I get screwed by being responsible all of my life.
