Published April 12, 2012
FoxNews.com

DEVELOPING - North Korea's attempt Friday to launch a long-range rocket has failed, according to U.S. officials.

A senior U.S. official who is receiving updates from U.S. military launch observers tells Fox News the rocket broke apart between 90 seconds and 2 minutes after launching.

Data suggests the rocket broke up in mid-flight inside the Earth's atmosphere. Officials tell Fox News the rocket did not fall into any populated areas, suggesting it fell into the ocean.

“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

Nah, we have great rockets.

OH, you mean THAT Dear Leader. :stirpot:

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Nice shot, Nippon.
We won't say a word. :-)
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Seeing as "The Un" had/has to "prove himeslf," I'd say a lot.  And their families will wind up in the NoKo version of the gulag.

That is probably what happened several years ago at the last rocket failure. They keep bumping them off, they will never succeed.

There's more food left for the ones still living, and that's a matter of survival there. There's been a lot of reporting today about only the 3rd prisoner ever to escape from North Korean gulags. Dude picked corn kernels out of manure.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Odds are, if you're a Nork rocket scientist and your rocket goes ACME on you, you get an express trip to the State Soylent Green factory. :puke:

Pretty much.

From what I've read, it doesn't sound far off the mark.

Obama slipped up again, that should have been a perfect launch considering how much money we have poured into it.

Sounds like a witnesses description of Andersonville.  Yes we Americans on both sides of That War were capable of the very same acts as we see in N.Korea and other country's about the world. Only difference I see is the conditions were so bad the Southerners threw food and blankets at risk of their own lives over the fence  to the Yankees who were suffering the pain of the damned.

One of the many reasons I respect the South for their kindness and turn a Jaundiced eye at the Northern camps and the lack of humaneness to the Southern POWS shown by history.

It is said some of the people in NK are eating grass to survive, was this not the same as the people of Ireland in the great potato famine????     Russia when a famine hit people were turning into Canables according to Krusheve.
Ethiopia has a famine every 2-3 years, the Government has enough food to feed all but we fly in tons of food and medicine to feed the starving, the people are told the help comes from their government and the starving do not care where the help comes from.

Where did the millions of dollars in food, medicine and building materials go in Hattie, disease and tent city's still stand and our missionary have to a large extent come home.   Mormons still stay bless them but only 20 of the money, food or materials ever reached the people most effected.

Only thing Obama has done that I understand, cutting off millions of dollars in food to our Enemy as they thumbed their nose at us, China and Russia.    Why should we support and feed a crazy mans country that can well feed their own as a bribe they refuse to take.

If we just stand back and STOP supporting the NK in any way, refuse to buy or sell from them, then and only then will the people rise up and fight for their own lives.   In a way we enable the NK leaders to continue to do as they please,  when we feed their people and they are told it is their own government doing so, they have no reason to rise up and demand an accounting from their country.

As I write this I get that uneasy feeling--you know the old by the pricking of my thumbs something evil this way comes, sort.

Looking at home, with all the wellfare, few jobs and the way we are going, if tit to tat comes about here, as the unemployed rises and people depend on Government for food clothing and shelter, who is most likely to keep the government as is, when the wealthy are taxed out of expanding and getting workers, who benefits and will vote for anyone that will care for them from the cradle to the grave.    The workers that were never allowed to grow up, stayed as children under the new Father that protects them from harm or want.

Disgusting but not to be unexpected, Actually I believe Frank has a mole in NK. that is sabotaging their attempts to developer their Missals, if not Frank then someone else that has a few moles in there.------Could be from China or Russia, or even the middle East, last thing the Muslims want to take on is a society of no religious faith.

Nobody is willing to go out on a limb and give NK the technology they need to launch a real missile, not even China seems to be willing to take that step.
