What Really Bothers Me About The GOP

Last edited Thu Apr 12, 2012, 09:27 PM USA/ET - Edit history (1)

what really bothers me about the GOP is their blitzkrieg war on everything everywhere and just about every state. They are at war with the country, women, children, workers, unions, public employees, firemen, police, health care, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Welfare, and Lord only knows what else.

They remind of the sappers in Vietnam or the Kamikaze in WWII. They are determined to run at anyone who does not agree with them. They seem to be determined to shut everyone else up, deny people the right to vote, instill fear and intimidation, and are willing to use every mean and underhanded tactic under the sun to force their version of reality on everyone else.

Every single word out of Romney"s mouth is a complete lie or distortion and it goes unchallenged. The media is trying to throw this election to the GOP since the seem to own it.

And we are seeing them get crazier by the minute. I am at a loss about what we can do about it. And they are becoming a serious threat to the integrity of this nation. These governors are acting like the North Koreans or the Taliban when they were in charge of Afghanistan.

I am 68 and I never thought I would see it get this crazy.

A ton of projection and flat out lies in that post.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Lol. Defending against Dem lies is considered "war on everything."
Let nothing trouble you,
Let nothing frighten you.
All things are passing;
God never changes.
Patience attains all that it strives for.
He who has God lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.

Let's disassemble even just one sentence of that asinine statement,
"They seem to be determined to shut everyone else up,..."
Kind of like the innumerable threads you DUmmies put up in which you demand that the Fairness Doctrine be reinstated, and that any and all conservative media voices (i.e. Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity) be silenced by any means necessary. Also, kind of like how any conservative speaker who goes to a college campus to give a speech is guaranteed to be shouted down by ultra- liberal protestors, and possibly even by physically threatened by them for exercising their First Amendment rights.
" deny people the right to vote,..."
Ok, first off, when the hell have the GOP sought to deny American citizens their right to vote (Not counting illegal immigrants, who do NOT have the right to vote in our elections, nor should they)? Second, what about the New Black Panther thugs engaging in blatant voter intimidation in 2008 and Obama's buddy Eric Holder letting them get away with it? You DUmmies seemed pretty cool with that.
" instill fear and intimidation,..."
First, consider again the New Black Panthers' engaging in voter intimidation. Second, consider Janet Reno instilling fear of our own countrymen by claiming that all Tea Party members, all war veterans, all conservatives, etc., are all potential domestic terrorists. Third, consider Obama and his cronies further instilling fear in Americans by portraying all conservatives and all successful Americans as evil monsters that love oppressing the poor out of greed and just for the fun of it.
" and are willing to use every mean and underhanded tactic under the sun to force their version of reality on everyone else."
Oh, please. The liberals wrote the book on this. From creeps like Michael Moore relying on incredibly dishonest and unethical tactics in his documentaries to try and push his lies on everyone else, to how recklessly the media is spinning and manipulating the Trayvon Martin case at the expense of the truth (i.e. Photoshopping images of both Martin and Zimmerman, constantly calling Zimmerman a "White Hispanic," fudging with the audio of the 911 call to make Zimmerman look like a racist, etc.), to Obama's constant reliance on race- baiting and class warfare rhetoric to deliberately turn Americans against each other for his own gain, the left knows all about using mean and underhanded tactics to force their views on the public.
