There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Unless we are playing Hannidate, sex orientation isn't important if the member doesn't disclose it through obvious inference. The message and subject matter is far more important anyway. Let the DUmp figure out the proper sex orientation. I admit that I do feel empathy (not sorrow) for transgenders as their sexual orientation cannot be defined through normal male/female paradigms.

Finally, I don't need a "little boy or girl thingy" on my avatar. That's just not...right.

C.S. Lewis

A community may possess all the necessary moral qualifications, in so high a degree, as to be capable of self-government under the most adverse circumstances; while, on the other hand, another may be so sunk in ignorance and vice, as to be incapable of forming a conception of liberty, or of living, even when most favored by circumstances, under any other than an absolute and despotic government.

Just got back from the grocery store and wondered why my ears were burning.

Gee, thanks.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

The nuanced, sensitive men of the democrat party always sit down to pee.

They're outraged at the sight of those discriminatory urinals, designed to disenfranchise over half of the ninety-nine percent.

As a little kid, on Saturdays I could walk to the movie theater in our little town, pay a quarter, and watch movies and cartoons all day.

I'd run home to use the bathroom, because the doors were marked "Gents" and "Dames".

I knew I wasn't a "dame", but I had no idea what a "gent" was.
