I believe that the Mariners are already there.

I saw last week that they were supposed to report on Monday. They'll need that extra week more than just about anyone.

SO EXCITED!! Hope to hit up a few spring training games next month. And I'm definitely going to the season opener on 4/6. It's the D-backs year, people!

Have fun at the spring training games. I've never been to one. Wish that the Cards were playing on the west coast of Florida rather than in Jupiter on the east coast. We definitely want to go to at least one. The Orioles train in Sarasota and there are games in Bradenton (north of here), Tampa, Ft Myers and elsewhere.

It's one of my favorite things to do. I'm within a 10-15 minutes drive to five of the spring training facilities. I usually try to hit at least a couple of them in March. Can't wait! Nothing better than soaking in some rays and some baseball. Playing hooky at work is fun too.  :-)

You're lucky to be that close. The ones in Bradenton and Sarasota are an easy drive, but the others are further. If you've been to so many of them, are the stadiums generally pretty small? I'm doing better on my knee rehab, but worried that I might get tickets where I have to go up a bunch of stairs with no rail. Maybe I'll call the stadiums and see if I can find a live human vs a recording and ask.

Enjoy your games. I've heard they're often more fun than the MLB games, as it's more casual and sometimes you can get close enough to the players to get an autograph.

I am rooting for the Bucs to have their 19th non winning season. It would be nice to see them do something this year, but I doubt that will happen. Even if they did sign McCutchen to a multiyear deal. They probably have a clause saying that they can get rid of him at will. After all we all know that as soon as he goes over .500, they will trade him.

Well, A.J. Burnett proved that he couldn't remember how to bunt.

I'm a Mets fan.  Johan Santana's outing was about the best that any Mets fan could hope for, after being on the shelf for 17 months rehabbing.  That Matt Harvey is going to be good.  Just not this year.  They're a couple of years away, at best--but once that time elapses . . . !
