Is it just me, ir is there a shortage of news in the news?

DU breaking news as of a couple minutes ago. There's kind of an Enquirer smell to it.
 The mass media, of course, are much worse.

What's going on in Indonesia? India? Scandinavia? Japan? Antarctica? The Midwest, for that matter?
 We already know the Republican candidates are loony. We should just medicate them and be done with it - quoting them benefits no one.

2. I totally agree. It's a sad parody of it's former self.

Half a dozen, mostly mindless posts, a day. It wasn't so long ago when DU was the cutting edge of news. My husband was always amazed at how I knew everything before the networks. Not anymore.
 Nothing there anymore but political claptrap and 'Enquirer' type articles and all stuff I've seen elsewhere.

Carefull primitive Jannyk, you could be cited for bullying and cyber-stalking.

I don't know what the DUmmy's complaining about, since they claim not to believe anything the Corporate Media says anyway.

Surely Al Jazeera, RawStory Truthout, or any of their other favorite non-agenda-driven sites have some meaty news for them.

She left after a story claiming Walter Cronkite was a conservative...obviously false. No documentation, just the Nads assertion that the lower minions needed to bow and accept her word on all things.

Since we know she lurks here, and we know her love of making stuff up outta thin air...we should help her with a spectacular story for her return. Fact checking is never required with nads. so as long as it SOUNDS GOOD, she might run with it!

How about, Parker Brothers (a multi national EVIL corporation) is secretly funding pepper spray for police with sales of the Monopoly game.
