A mother of one of the pupils at CH Campbell Elementary School in Canfield, Ohio, dressed up as the popular Disney character to surprise her daughter's class.The children were having a special Valentine's Day party, and the fun-loving mum thought she would add to the laughter by dressing up as the iconic cartoon star.However, problems arose because she did not inform school staff of her plans.The school's superintendent, Dante Zambrini, said the unnamed woman followed procedure and signed in upon arrival - but then went and changed into the costume in a bathroom.She then changed back after making her special appearance.'It was a case of, Mickey Mouse was here, and then he was missing,' Ms Zambrini said.'Our building principal called our school resource officer and the building went into lockdown as a precaution.
The teenager got the shock while watching a programme that featured a report on swinging on the website of TV channel RTL.Her mum and dad had agreed to be filmed for the piece because they thought their identities would be disguised, but the production company forgot to pixelate the couple's faces, reports Munich-based newspaper Suddeutsche Zeitung.
