Can't say I see all that much room for optimism, with Iranian saber-rattling, the Eurozone mired in an insoluble crisis, and our own national debt growing by leaps and bounds with no serious attempt at resolution anywhere in sight.

I would not take a liberal Yankee poll to the bank. I just do not see how Obama can win even if the Democrats buy votes along with the dead ones. The red states that voted for him the last time will not this time around. The thrill and the hope he expoused in the last election has vanished into obscurity. Independents have left him in droves.

Ayup, The "mushy middle" is the group that decides elections. Also Libtard numbers are down to their lowest point in more than a decade while the number of voters identifying themselves as intending to vote republican is up.
