The pastor and his church should probably watch themselves for a while. The Occupy freaks tend to get more violent and lawless than usual when those who were giving them free handouts stop doing so.
For instance, in one of the California Occupy sites, a hot dog stand and a coffee stand had been providing free food and drinks to the Occupiers. Then, when they realized how much money they were losing, they stopped doing so and charged regular prices again. Of course, this caused the Occupiers to go into a foaming frenzy. They rampantly stole from and vandalized (Both with graffiti and with splattered blood and urine) the carts, so much so that the cart owners had to at least temporarily shut down business.

The Occupiers have already worked to mend bridges with the church in this case, offering to replace the stolen goods and make repairs as necessary.
But you've got to wonder who would have the motive to do shit like this.
Occupiers themselves? The activists themselves wouldn't do such a thing.
Hangers-on, such as drug-addicts, homeless and ex-cons who may have latched on to the movement? Maybe.
Police operatives, corporate provocateurs or other enemies seeking to discredit Occupy? I find this possibility not only possible, but quite likely."
Ah, and as is always the case when the Occupiers (Or radical ultra- left activisits in general) engage in their usual lawlessness and general douchebaggery, the DUmmies claim that it all must have REALLY been the work of the cops/ agent provocateurs, without a shred of proof of course.
The Occupiers have frequently shown they have no problem whatsoever with theft, and that nothing is sacred for them. Furthermore, as Marxists, they loathe Christianity even as they are quick to thrust their hands out for whatever freebies the churches are generous enough to provide for them. It is not only likely, but almost guaranteed that the Occupiers stole the computer and the bronze lid, both to sell them for money to support their drug habits and also as a way of saying "F&&k you" to the Christian faith.
For that reason, the suggestion from the DUmmies that Occupiers post "Guards" to prevent such thefts is ridiculous, unless the guards used were church members unaffiliated with the Occupy freaks.
I'd also agree with the posters who point out that "drug-addicts, homeless and ex-cons" make up the vast majority of the Occupy movement's membership

I'd imagine Rabbi Gruber simply gets along well with the people at that church, and appreciates that they don't like when their church is desecrated.
