This does lead me to a thought and a question.
Now there is growing talk and speculation about who would be a good candidate against walker in the recall election.
As you might guess, I have been getting a number of suggestions that I should run; for example, on the way to the office this morning five people commented to me to that effect. One, a teacher, when he learned who I was, was very excited about the idea of a La Follette running against the man who has turned back much of the Progressive principles of Fighting Bob.
So why do you think that the news media never mention my name and I have not seen a poll matching me against walker. I think this might have a very interesting result.
My question, do you all think I should take the idea seriously; of course, I could never do it without your support and help.

He has a famous political name in Progressive politics: his great-grandfather and "Fighting Bob" La Follette's father were brothers.
make him Bob's great-grandson, wouldn't they be distant cousins or something?
And who exactly is Doug Lafollette?

3. I could definately get behind Doug. He helped slow down the Walker bill by refusing...
...to publish it until the last minute last Spring.
His main job is to put into print any laws that are passed. Essentially, he is an office manager with a state seal.
I hope he does run. Doug is the living, breathing equivalent to a cold, damp handshake. Think Harry Reid but less charisma.

4. Tom Barrett I hear may be a stronger candidate.
Another good choice. He can run on the fact that he saved Milwaukee money by using the reforms Walker and the GOP put into law.
