the windfall that The MichelleStar! realized after Baroque Obama was elected to the senate has been pointed out here at CC a few times;  I think we may be the only one that realize it, though.  you would think that the MSM would be all over it.

is the interest on student loans deductible?  I can't find anything on his tax returns (going back to 2000), but I have only gotten as far back as 2005.

It is now, and I believe it was when they first graduated.  But then there was a period of time when it wasn't. That period of time, of course, coincided with when I was paying mine back.  They were deductible almost immediately before I went into repay status, and then shortly after I had them paid off.

Congress has tracked my life and figured out precisely how to screw me over.

it depends on how much you make..

as for them paying off their loans well into their 40s? well, did someone put a gun to their collective heads to go to that many schools? once Obama entered politics he was probably making more money than he ever had - so her idea that she and her husband are in the 'helping fields' making no money is laughable..

Obama will make a lot of money even if he never wins the White House.. he is now the darling of the Leftie party and he will remain so because of his race. they cannot get rid of him no matter what he does from here on out. the entire Rev. Wright debacle should be proof of that..

he made some ridiculously small amount of money for quite some time after law school.  isn't that part of the Baroque Legend?

well, honestly, i dont know much about his personal life.. ive listened to him speak in every Dem debate so far, save one, and I am just not impressed with his positions on leading this country.. so I never invested in reading about him further.

suffie it to say, he's in the big leagues now and will have an impressive war chest left over if he doesnt clinch the nomination or in fact, loses the general.

he's a money maker and he even managed to sell two books before most of the country had heard about him.. the Dems will elevate him to senior politician status if he doesnt win, in the hopes he runs again next time. he's a national spokesperson now for all the liberal guilt over not getting a black man into the Oval Office.

the BarackStar!! is here for life..

you missed our numerous (and infinitely boring) background threads on Baroque Obama. :-)  (note the new nickname).  we actually did a pretty good job of getting his real bio put out there.
