Chowing down in Louisiana

Down in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, Boudreaux gets a job with BP helping with the cleanup.

He reports for work and is told to speak to a supervisor about his assignment.

He finds the man and asks, "What it is I supposed to do?"

The supervisor tells him to go to the animal shelter and clean the pelicans.

Two hours later, Boudreaux comes up to the supervisor and says, "Okay. Dey all cleaned. You want me to cook some rice?"

Cajun blonde


Two brunettes and a Cajun blonde go into a saloon to get a drink. The first brunette goes to the bar and ask the bartender for an RW. "What's an RW?" asked the bartender. She says Red Wine.

The second brunette goes up an asks for a WW and the bartender says, "That must be white wine." She says "Yes".

Then the Cajun blonde goes up to the bar and asks the bartender for a 15 and he says, "What's a 15? I never heard of that drink."

The Cajun blonde says, "Mais don't be silly...Dats seven & seven of course".

Tophile & Clarence

Tophile live across de bayou from Clarence who he don like at all. Dey all da time yell across de bayou at each utter.

Tophile would yell at Clarence, "If I had a way to cross dis bayou, I'd come over dere an beat you up good, yeah!

Dis went on for years. Finally de state don built a bridge across dat bayou right by dere houses and Tophile's wife Clotile says, "Now is yo chance, Tophile...Why don't you go over dere an beat up Clarence like you say?"

Tophile say "OK" and start across de new bridge but he see a sign on de bridge an he stop to read it and den he go back home.

Clotile say, "Mais why you back so soon?"

Tophile say "Mais Clotile, I don change my mind about beat up Clarence. You know dey got a sign on dat bridge what say 'Clarence' 13 ft 6 in. You know, he don look near dat big when I yell at him from across de bayou!

Pronounced may.  Sometimes I see this word meh written in posts and I laugh because it's similar how I would pronounce mais.
