No Sarah dear, Pres. Reagan, G.C.B., was given an honorary knighthood (knight grand cross, not merely knight commander too) for being a great ally to the United Kingdom and defeating an incredibly great threat to our country.
Pres. (H.W.) Bush, G.C.B.; Pres. Eisenhower, G.C.B., O.M.; Gen. MacArthur, G.C.B.; Gen. Swartzkopf, K.C.B.; and Gen. Powell, K.C.B. have also been so awarded - the last also being granted a coat-of-arms (as his father was a British subject).
