(12-20-2011 11:26 PM)NowIknowWhy Wrote:  Franks a fricking psycho.

I stand by my observation that the guy is in a constant need to prove himself superior to all others, despite having a rather normal disability, instead of just being happy with being himself.

Nutter and a half.

I completely agree. He's not only a psycho, but his agenda is to 'out' liberals he disagrees with on the internet.

I first heard of him back when Andy Stephenson was still alive and struggling to find treatment for his cancer. For those of you who don't know this story, Andy was an election reform activist and much loved DUer who quit his 'real' job and lost his health insurance so he could work full time on election reform. Then he got cancer and DU raised the money he needed for surgery to treat his cancer. For some unknown reason, this was offensive to Frank and his friends, who set up a website to expose Andy as a fraud. They not only claimed Andy was lying about having cancer, they also contacted the hospital where his surgery was scheduled and raised enough of a stink that the surgery was postponed. When Andy died, they claimed he was not really dead but had run off to a glamorous new life with the money contributed for his medical care by DUers.

Since then, Frank and his crew have 'outed' liberals they don't like online by working to find their real names and addresses. They then contact their employers to report their evil liberal posts on DU and other websites. Yes they not only brag about this at their sick website, I actually know DUers this has happened to. Fortunately they work for employers who are more concerned about Frank's craziness than anything their employees have posted on the internet. And at least one of the DUers I know has gone after Frank and his crew legally by means of a restraining order and threat of a lawsuit.

So yes, he's definitely a psycho. A sadistic, sociopathic psycho.

Sounds like Anne spouting her nonsense again.   Still bitter you had a poor showing for the awards aren't you?

How on earth would a surgery get postponed by phone calls made to a hospital?   No one works to find out real names -- the misfits provide intimate details about their lives, with pictures.

  already.

I had one of those internet outages before I could continue.  They say the weather doesn't affect wireless internet, but trust me, it does.

Anyway.

Oh whooop-whooop-whooop-de doo.

franksolich doesn't have any such "need;" people in real life will verify that franksolich is a nice guy, one of the nicest guys one can ever hope to meet.  And an absolute egalitarian.

I dunno the definition of "a rather normal disability," but I suspect it's rather more than just "normal."

<<eminently happy, content, mellow about self.

franksolich tests well within "normal" of psychological examinations, and yes, franksolich has had plenty of those done by professionals, given that so many are so interested in what makes him tick.

Whoa.

That is s-o-o-o-o-o wrong it doesn't even deserve any elaboration.

We did?  I didn't know we did that.

We do?

As far as I know, we do only on primitives who become public figures, such as candidates for public office.

Which is an old, old, old American right and tradition.

If a primitive's not a public figure, we don't; one would be surprised by how much we don't know about non-public-figure primitives.  Not that one can't find out--anyone can find out--but being decent and civilized people, we respect boundaries.  If a primitive's not a public figure, a primitive has nothing to worry about.

Compare that, please, with the conduct of primitives who don't respect boundaries and who try to delve into the personal lives of decent and civilized people.

No contest.

Quote
They then contact their employers to report their evil liberal posts on DU and other websites.

There were actually two known instances of primitives getting into trouble with their jobs.

One got into trouble because someone not connected with franksolich or the DUmpster or the long-ago Scamdy contacted his employer.

The second got into trouble because another primitive on Skins's island reported her.

Quote
Fortunately they work for employers who are more concerned about Frank's craziness.....

I dunno how they can be "concerned" about anything, because franksolich has never contacted any primitive's employer about anything.

Quote

Whoa.

franksolich had a restraining order?

<<always the last to know.

And the threat of a lawsuit?

<<always the last to know, damn it.

By the way, madam, I'm just enjoying my temporary notoriety.

It happens every year, right after we're done giving out the top primitive awards.

It goes on for about a week, the primitives "shouting" out to us.

But given their short-term memories and five-minute attention-spans, by mid-January, they've forgotten who we are.

I'm sure there'll be a few more, but probably by the end of the month, even Chief Weeping Bull, the yenta, and the turtle dude will have forgotten who we are.

Such is fame.  Fleeting.

Don't know who is posting that crap but they are definatly looking ata lawsuit for posting it if someone were inclined to go after them. No names and nothing but their word on what happened during the Andy thing ould cost them. That would be the only reason to go after them over that whole deal.

Oh, you know what's going on here, sir.

The primitives, but even more so the elmers, have such an inflated overestimation of their abilities--they think they're super-bright, super-smart, super-intelligent--that for someone to give them any trouble, well, that person has to have extraordinary if not supernatural powers, to best them.

After all, they're the smartest people on the internet.

It would blow their minds to learn that franksolich is actually only a very ordinary person, nothing exceptional about him at all.

But to actually see and understand that, the primitives, and more so the elmers, would then have to admit well, maybe they're not so smart after all, being bested by a mundane sometimes-boring ordinary average person.

So they're more comfortable with their fantasy that franksolich is the Devil Incarnate.

It can be very trying, being a legend.

You know, just as some people's destinies are to lead armies or rule nations or sell toothpaste or explore unknown worlds or knit stockings, franksolich has always been aware of his own destiny since he was a little lad.

To create unease, discomfort, chaos, confusion, disarray, discombobulation anywhere that Hate and self-willed Ignorance exist.

I've always been good at this, and yes, I have the right to boast about it, to brag about it, upsetting, frustrating, consternating, vexing those who Hate, and those who dwell in self-imposed Ignorance.

It's always been a lot of fun.

Sometimes I wonder if perhaps God specifically created Skins's island as a playground for franksolich.

No offense, Frank.

No offense taken.

The primitive probably thought she was looking out a window, seeing franksolich, but actually she was looking in a mirror.

I'm still waiting for Will Pitt to take us all down for the Scamdy thing. Remember that? His powerful lawyer friends were going to chase us down and make us pay? That was an underrated post.

We were going to be sued for, what, being mean to a liberal on the internet?
