4. What a way to end the year

pd and EMS are coming back... (who needs CNN? this is actually history)

I hesitate to interrupt this thread, but always remember this about nadin, from her Top DUmmie award; keep this in mind every time one reads her:

Quote
One’s sure that while nadinbrzezinski dreams for, pines for, yearns for, the decline of America and the “system,” she’s not above taking advantages of the benefits America and the system gives her.  One imagines she takes all she can, as quick as she can.  She enjoys an elevation of living far above that which could reasonably be expected by a wife of a retired submarine commander in the Mexican navy, for example.

****ing pigs...

Too bad.

they know they need to stop this... or at least try.

Power concedes NOTHING

116. Oddly, I did go to a mystery school. A good one.

And I'm not preaching. I'm discussing visible Trends. Quite obviously, there is a rising trend toward freedom and democracy and a people uniting, world-wide. It is unmistakable. It's not going away. And Nadin is of course correct, in that power doesn't just walk away. It will salt the earth, it will poison the well, rather than just go. Look at the obvious trend of cops becoming more conniving and ludicrous and secretive as they desperately seek to make #Occupy go away. Look at our unlucky brothers and sisters in Egypt. So, we have two directions: a rising need for freedom and joy, and the old direction of "Do what we say or else". In Tunisia, bless them, they got free without great expense. Others are not as lucky. I'm interested in what is happening in America. I am all for Freedom and all against the old direction.

"News" will reflect these things. "A pound of protection beats an ounce of lead", said SFOTW. Knowing the trends allows for strategy. You can then -make- the news.

I am very interested in both the micro and the macro, and especially the evolution of this emergent system. I won't apologize for what I am and for that which interests me, for that which I know must be, such as Freedom. And for the manner in which it must be discussed. The Ignore button is right there, please put me on ignore. Have a good new year!

Wondering if #OSD are as well?

44. That was not in the plans and they'd better not

I mean otherwise I will go down there and SHARE my lovely bugs. We did not mind at the auto show, but down at OSD, my cold might become pneumonia, Before you ask hubby and I are playing cold ping pong.

Today he joked that I picked the last batch at the local occupy. (Which is possible, I mean several of the locals were sick as can be)

It's a big campfire, but anyway the New York City police de-occupy the pigs.

But keep in mind what was said earlier about the yenta--always, when seeing her comments throughout 2012--one’s sure that while nadinbrzezinski dreams for, pines for, yearns for, the decline of America and the “system,” she’s not above taking advantages of the benefits America and the system gives her.  One imagines she takes all she can, as quick as she can.

Always keep that in mind.

That reminds me of the drunken William Pitt and his "Day When Everything Finally Changed".

Trouble is, I cannot remember what happened on that momentous Day.

Watch this video of the re-occupation of Zucotti Park and tell me again how they were arrested for "standing around"?
