DEC 7th: Pearl harbor was Bush's fault.

Yeah, it's that time of the year when the crazies at DU blame everyone else about who's fault Pearl Harbor was:

Not worth the effort to post the OP.

40. Pearl Harbor was a military target.
What exactly were Hiroshima and Nagasaki again? The shameful pride taken in that war always amazes me.

100. Well gee,
if the "krauts" wanted to dominate the world, why didn't they bring their war of domination to US soil and kill Americans instead of the other way around? We are the world, after all. Everybody knows that.

There is too much stupid in that one post.

42. So "love it or leave it?"
I've tried to move to various countries, but it's either not economically feasible or the immigration policies make it impossible

that is too funny.

Ah, that's why they also bombed parts of Honolulu.  Silly me.

And yes, there were targets of military value in both Hiroshima and Nagasaki.  Perhaps you could explain to me what the military targets were when the Japanese launched their fire balloon (Fu-Go) attacks?  Or when they shelled Oxnard in 1942?  Or when they summarily executed civilians by the thousands, hell, HUNDREDS of thousands?

Funny, but every country but US has very restrictive immigration policies to keep out the dredges of society.

Yup--the poor civilians below were being buried alive.

This man was beheaded, obviously.

This rape victim was . . . well, the picture tells the story.

The Japanese had no problems bombing the shit out of cities when they had the capability, the original reason for the Flying Tigers was to interdict them from doing exactly that.  They Imperial forces also had no problem slaughtering civilians and noncombatants by the hundred thousand on the ground, and Nanking and Manila attest.  The two A-bomb attacks saved millions of Japanese and probably hundreds of thousands of Allied military personnel from death, they really were the lesser of the two evils in the available alternatives for ending the war.

Lord Rove, the VRWC Time Bandits Division, and the BFEE have been at this a long time.

(Wait until the DUmbshits find out that the 2nd and 3rd Crusades were really orchestrated by Lord Rove) :-D

What the USA and her allies did during WWII was RIGHTEOUS.  The Axis powers asked for the grief they got, and while innocent civilians always get hurt or killed in wars, I'd always much later it be the enemy's civilians than ours.  No way should anyone in this country feel guilty for doing what it took to win the war, and if only the military was still allowed to, oh, fight an actual war instead of being hampered by hand wringing politicos and wacked out libs, we'd have won 'Nam and been out of Afghanistan and Iraq by now.

Most victor nations would have ground the Germans and Japanese neck deep in the morass of defeat.  We spent billions of dollars to rehabilitate them.

They get stuck on the much-elder Bush, who divested himself from all Nazi ties once he found out what was going on.
