Dear DUmmies...I hear Pyongyang is really pretty this time of year.  Why don't you go see for yourself?

Whiny bitches.

Yup.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

So the DUchebag was proud when we elected 0 but now he has shown us to be the complete empty suit it is not so proud.

When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

It's kind of funny. Back when there were protests against the Egyptian government that was semi-friendly to the US, it was big news at the DUmp with countless threads about Tahrir Square.  Now that it is the Muslims that hate America that is brutalizing the protesters there is nary a peep.  The same is true of the MSM.

Hi5. I also find that quite interesting. (Not to mention hypocritical to the nth degree.)

If you're not proud to be an American, get the **** out.  There are millions of other people who would love to switch places with you.

DUmmy Version Of Bragging Rights

"I hate this country."

"I hate this country, too."

"I hate it more, though."

"Sheeya, I really hate it."

"Not as much as I hate it."

"Maybe not, but I've been hating it longer."

"Longer doesn't count. It's how much you hate it.

"Oh, so you're the self-appointed judge of which hate is best? My hate is just as good as your hate."

"No, you're drawing a false equivalence. Intensity of hate is better than duration of hate."

"Well I was hating it before you were born, so that counts for something."

"That was old white hippy hate. Mine is the new paradigm - young multi-ethnic gender-blind hate. It's a more intense and pure hate, in keeping with the progressive nature of the movement."

"Sometimes traditional hate is better, though. Your hate has been affected subliminally by corporate Madison Avenue messages. It's pre-packaged, non-organic hate. In fact, if you look closely, you can see Monsanto's trademark on it. See it right there?"

"That's a damnable lie! I'll stack my America-hating credentials up against yours any day, Sparky!"

"**** you, pseudo-hater! You...you...you...STAND FOR THE NATIONAL ANTHEM!"

"KISS MY ASS! I saw your thread about enjoying those fireworks on the 4th! Here's the link! Your hate sucks!"

"I hate your hate! It represents everything I hate about America! Read Howard Zinn!"

"Screw Howard Zinn and America! I hate you!"

LMAO.  Hi5.  I'm half tempted to ask for the link to that thread.:D

"People in this Country are being pepper-sprayed, beaten with batons, and arrested for doing nothing but exercising their First Amendment rights."

Actually, no. The Occupy freaks are being pepper- sprayed, beaten and arrested for illegal assembly, trespassing, vandalism of public and private property, theft, drug use, drug dealing, public urination, public defecation, public masturbation, indecent exposure, lewd conduct, disorderly conduct, assaulting police officers, assaulting each other, assaulting random civilians, raping women, pimping out underaged children, and a whole laundry list of other quite valid charges.

You see one of these stupid, pretentious threads every day or so on DU, you can pretty much predict exactly what's going to be said on it.

Ok DUmmies, thought (I know, foreign concept for you there) experiment for you:

You can be born in any country currently in existence in the world. Only condition is that you will be born as the poorest person in that country. Where do you want to be born?

I would limit it to just three...Cuba, North Korea and China.

Then get the **** out.

Whiny bitches.

No crap.  They are only proud when things are going their way and they are getting "theirs".  They don't have the stomach or fortitude to stick out the bad times of Lady Liberty.  Stupid pieces of shit.

The point of it is our "poor" are better off than all but the wealthiest in most countries as far as standard of living goes. Plus, if you work hard, you can move up the social ladder.

But for the DUmmies, I'll agree to your restrictions.
