It's time to put the cops in a tyranny zone away from protesters.

Events need to provide their own security from volunteers, have an inner perimeter which is guarded by those individuals, and an outer perimeter guarded by cops. This will prevent skirmishes from happening. The cops won't have any excuse to start shit, and neither will the protesters.

I find it amazing.

As much as these toilet bobbers whine about "DISENFRANCHISEMENT!" they can't see what it is they're doing.

Our form of government is a social contract. It delineates the time and manner for deciding who our representatives are supposed to be. When those reps are chosen they decide on the laws that will be enforced and it allows for law enforcement. Along the way numerous safeguards are put in place to not only protest bad laws but also to insure fair adjudication. The system is only as moral as those adhering to it but it isn't a system designed to extol morality so much as it is the best system in the world for mitigating and correcting the inevitable immoralities of human government that are the 3rd inevitable constant of human existence.

I'm rather fond of the scheme.

This desire the little anal crumbs have for arresting the police and evicting pols from capitol buildings is not their petition for redress, it is usurping the political system the rest of us have agreed to abide by. It is the effort to nullify the votes of those people who elected the pols who passed the laws the police enforce. It is NOT democracy. It is a mob driven dictatorship. It is the stealing of lawfully registered ballots.

Worse still, the human colostomy bags can't even run their own affairs within their own camps yet they presume to tell their betters when democracy will be allowed to stand and when it will be abrogated to the personal benefit of the protesters.

Dear Lurking ptarmigan droppings,

You cannot usurp my vote. You do not represent me. You will not overturn my government (more from your own ineptness than and requirement of resistance on my part).
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

Yes, incredibly inept and unbelievably funny, they are.  Plus, there's this thing called the 2nd Amendment, which says that the people (yes, especially those who oppose the freeloaders "occupying Wall Street") can use firearms in self-defense.  If the OWememeS wish to be on the muzzle side of those weapons, well, . . .

"This will prevent skirmishes from happening. The cops won't have any excuse to start shit, and neither will the protesters."
In the words of Kevin Spacey in Superman Returns, "WROOOOONG!"
1. Many of the protestors, especially the bandana- masked Anarchist vermin, go to such events specifically to start fights, especially with cops.
2.  Considering that the "Security staff" will undoubtedly consist of fellow protestors, They would pretty much undoubtedly allow the protestors through to attack the cops.
3. If the "Security staff" attempt to block the police and/ or prevent them from doing their jobs, they themselves could be arrested for aiding and abetting, obstruction of justice, possibly assaulting an officer of the law, and God knows how many other charges.
