In front of St. Alexander's Roman Catholic Church in Kiev (built in the late 1810s, it was a planetarium under the socialists, and re-conscretated in 1991), there is a bell inside an archway, specially made by a German company to last a very long time.
The bell is meant to be rung once every half hour, twenty-four hours a day, day and night, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year, in commemoration of each Ukrainian who died under socialism.
Rung once every half hour, the bell's supposed to be rung for the next circa 1150 years.
