Note that the tea party not only secures the proper permits, they PAID THEIR OWN WAY to get there, gave business to local hotels/restaurants by sleeping there and not in the street, and eating in their establishments.   

They weren't paid to be there, took vacation time off from work, rallied peacefully, and left the premises in pristine condition. 

They may not agree with all laws, but respect the process and those in authority.    You misfits could learn a lot from them.   

I wonder how many drug influenced pregnancies will result from the orgies in occupier tent cities?

I must have missed that.

This isn't a contest on who picks up more trash. Seems like your FB "friend" really doesn't want to address the issues that OWS is protesting about but would rather divert attention to what I suspect are pretty isolated incidents.

If you get that many people together in one place there will always be a few bad apples. MOst everyone is behaving themselves pretty well IMHO.

Funny that the few bad apples argument didn't apply to the Tea Party, we were branded racists, bigots and so forth. Never were the issues addressed. In other words you are a hypocrite.

I post "this crap" because some of us live in redder areas (I happen to be in a redder area of a blue state) and we have to deal with this on a daily basis.

*Some* of us are in the trenches for spirited debate, and a little conscience building. Sometimes you change something. Sometimes you don't. But for the five or six that *I* personally have switched from one side to another just by not taking their crap (in this case, it is the LIE that Tea Baggers never leave parks dirty when in fact they did)

Sometimes you have to disengage. Sometimes you have to reload and let those ****ers know that you are NOT backing down.

Some things are just too important.

I guess in LaydeeBug's imaginary world she is a converter. She was able to convert 5 or 6 imaginary people to lunacy.

By the way, if you're lurking LaydeeBug, if you can show some REAL proof that the Tea Party left parks dirty you should do so. Or were speaking of imaginary parks?
