http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=215x188132Oh my.
You know, I never knew much about the condom primitive, because the condom primitive usually stays above the fray, out of the scraps and fisticuffs, in the sports forum on Skins's island.
I'm guessing he's middle-aged and a perpetual student at the University of Iowa, so as to defer paying on his student loans for as long as possible.
Anyway, again, we're relieved of the nuisancesome know-nothings who hang around the sports forum--the truemud primitive, the rabid terrapin primitive, and El Stupido (the forkboy primitive having left for the elmic shores)--who douse campfires in the sports forum with their abysmal ignorance and awesome stupidity about sports.

*******COLLEGE FOOTBALL: WEEK 7*******
A little late, tonight, brosheffenhausers. OIC is in it's fifth day and I was delayed by spending some quality time with the faithful. Mother****er. You feel like you're truly living history as it happens. We have a Port-O-Let!!!!
Okay. Enough of that. Football. Liberal Dog and a la just dominated. Just took a shit on mediocrity. But brendan does enough to maintain the lead. What a contest we got. Everybody still in striking range.
This week's fare at first pass was THE worst of the season. You start digging through and you find some intruiging match-ups. No offense to the Sooner fans. Playing KU didn't do it for me. But Northwestern @ Iowa did. Especially since they have owned our ass. Plus, it's a night game with the striped sections. Tailgating commences at the stroke of noon. No Games 'til Saturday so before kick. Standings to follow.
Saturday, October 15
Michigan +3 @ Michigan State
South Carolina -5 @ Mississippi State
Baylor +10 @ Texas A&M
Indiana +38 @ Wisconsin
Oklahoma State -6 @ Texas
LSU -15.5 @ Tennessee
Ohio State +3.5 @ Illinois
Alabama -23.5 @ Ol' Miss
Virginia Tech -7 @ Wake Forest
Florida pick em @ Auburn
Georgia -13.5 @ Vanderbilt
Kansas State +4 @ Texas Tech
Northwestern +7 @ Iowa
Stanford -20 @ Washington State
Arizona State +15 @ Oregon
Yeah, the condom primitive's right; this weeks' match-ups are pretty boring.
I already knew Nebraska has the weekend off, but was surprised to see that Oklahoma does too.
So.....what to pick, for the most important game of the week?
It surely has to be Michigan-Michigan State.
So.....who does franksolich like, in the most important game of the week?
It's a difficult choice to make, given one's unfamiliarity with either team. One could go by division loyalty, one supposes.....the problem being, both Michigan and Michigan State are in Nebraska's division of the Big 10.
One could go by past encounters, but that's a mixed bag. Nebraska is 5-0 against Michigan State, 2-3-1 against Michigan. We haven't played each other often enough to detect any pattern, any trend.
I suppose I'll go with whichever team--Michigan or Michigan's little brother Michigan State--for which the late Gerald Ford played during the 1930s. I'm not sure which one it is, but I'll get around to nadining it.

Ooops, all the primitives picked Michigan State.
And we know the track-record of the primitives, when it comes to predicting things.
I won't bother with Gerald Ford; franksolich is picking Michigan to win.
