Herman Cain Has Become The Perfect Racist
Last night on The Ed Schultz Show, Michael Eric Dyson said this about Cain:

He wants to give the Republican party the gift of absolution.

Herman Cain Has Become The Perfect Racist
by Dr. Boyce Watkins

Cain has also made a career of hurling insults at Black people that no white man could ever get away with ... Most of his comments are not the kinds of things he could say about other ethnic groups; if he were to say that all Jews were brainwashed (as he said about African Americans), he’d be off the stage before finishing his sentence. Herman Cain has become, in many ways, the perfect racist ... Herman Cain has volunteered to become the cute little political puppet which allows white America to say the things that they are afraid to say ...

It is their ability to put Cain out front to absorb the criticism for racist remarks that makes millions of right-wing Americans so happy about his racial politics. Cain validates and brings security to a set of ideas that are generally unacceptable to those who understand America’s ugly racial history.

1. Wouldn't you love to have Rev. Al Sharpton interview Herman Cain?

Yeah, I'd love to see that loud-mouthed, race-baiter interview someone with some sense. Herman would mop the floor with that one-trick clown...BTW, has he finally apologized to the Duke lacrosse team for months worth of slander and libel yet?

That would be one awesome interview. I'd actually watch MSNBC to see that one. Cain would wipe the floor with him.

Hey lurking DUers,

Nobody but liberal shills are bringing up Cain's race.  Cain had not brought it up until liberal idiots did first.  You DUers and the rest of your liberal idiots-in-arms are the only ones that care about the skin color of a politician.  You idiots are perpetuating racism, not conservatives, and not Cain.

I do not know about being brain washed but when close to 90% of an ethnic group consistently votes for the same political party for the last 50 years there is something wrong. Especially when that same party was not known for their racial tolerance during the latter half of the 19th and early half of the 20th centuries.

If Cain wins the nomination, we will truly see the most racist presidential campaign ever. Liberals are as racist as they come and will unleash their inner hatred like you have never seen. The left has been storing it up for decades. Sure they got some of it out on Condi Rice, Michael Steele, Alan West, and any other prominent black republican but Cain is truly a self made man that didn’t need the democrat plantation to be successful. The donks need that sure 95% of the black vote to win anywhere and they will not let it go willingly. There will be all sorts of “Uncle Tom”, “house ******”, “race traitor”, and “off the plantation” slurs thrown at Herman Cain by the left. It has already started at PMSNBC as a trial balloon and now we see it at ESPN. These are warning shots at Cain and any other black that dares to not be lockstep with the democrat party.

The thing to remember with Liberals/progressives/collectivists is they are all about diversity, as long as everyone THINKS the same.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

I would love to see that interview!  Hey DUmmies, do a DUAC!  Make it so!

It's not a raging campfire, just flickers of +1 and K&R there.  Linthead says something dumb.  The DUmmies tend to not swarm the Herman Cain threads.

I worked with alot of Blacks in the early 80's. (Manpower so they could show they worked enough to still get bennies after quitting) Inner city types. They just don't friggin care. They really want something for nothing and whoever promises them that is the shoe in.

Trust me, working with them was eye opening.

If anybody needs "absolution", it's the Democratic Party for their racist past. They're still at it today by the looks of some of their anti-Cain DUmp posts:

13. He'll Be Lucky To Get 10$ of the Black Vote...
Skin color does not a candidate make. Cain's already getting beat up in the black media...just cause Cain or some white pollster says its so doesn't mean it is.

Of course the good 'ole boys love the colored fella...he lets them absolve their racism cause "we got our own". As others above have stated, Cain's 15 minutes will end soon as the party's true racism rises to the top. The problem for the racists is Mittens and Huntsman are too Mormon, Frothy Santorum is too Catholic, O'Bachmann is too female, Gingrich is even too sleezy for even these bottom feeders and Parry (A for almost toast) loves mexicans. So whose left?

6. I am SURE,
Colin Powell was their go to guy whenever they wanted to not look that way. You know what way. Then they would trot him out there and say we love and respect our long time established member of the republican party. But as soon as things were going South for Dubya/Shooter on the Iraq War with the WMD's non-existence, who did they try and blame it on. Look at the supreme Court. Now Scalia,Alito, and Roberts were meeting with the Koch brothers. Which Justice is in hot water? Why low and behold its Clarence Thomas. Trust me if there is anything you can depend on from the Republican Party is that they will let money and racism always be their driving force. Herman cain is a Republican Valet. He is getting the share of Santorum,Bachmann, and Gingrich. They need them to move out the way so Romney and Perry can duke it out over who is Right enough.

Any democrat who only gets 90% of the black vote loses a landslide.

Algore got 95%, the jug-eared Kenyan got over 96%. If that number drops to 90%, he loses every competitive state.

You describe the majority (over half) of them dead on. I was born, raise, lived,  worked and employed them all my life. They come basically in 2 types, those that work like hell (very rare) and those that won't work for hell(usually).

Now we're both racist for telling the truth....and I'll tell you something else, the black race has gone to hell since equal rights, LBJ and the "War on Poverty".

i would edit to say "the black race has gone to hell since equal rights, the drug culture has gone to hell since the "war on drugs" and the poverty culture has gone to hell since the "War on Poverty".

no coincidence for all 3??

I find that very, very true, and sad. The black guys that stayed, and worked, (the "job" lasted 3 years) were some of the nicest people I ever worked with. They would give the shirt off their back when necessary.

Irony: Racist DUmmies accusing a black man who had a mostly poor upbringing with "authentic" black people in a southern state (supposedly the racist capital of the world) of racism against other blacks because he wants to see his fellow man lifted from the slavery of their democrat slum lord. Meanwhile they're actually trying to say a half white/half black man who spent most of his life in another country where boys are taught they're superior or in the privileged private school world of his grandparents and is now good friends with some of the worst slum lords in Chicago understands and sympathizes with the "black" experience. All this while believing that if they pay lip service to the plight of black families they can't possibly be racist or uncaring. Nor do they see their constant harping about how much more tolerant they are of people who are "different" while intolerantly insulting a minority because he doesn't think like them.
