The difference between the Tea Party and OWS

After swimming my laps yesterday, I was eavesdropping on a conversation in the hot tub and heard a lovely explanation of the difference between teabaggers and OWS, which went something like this:

"The Tea Party wants to protect corporations from government; OWS wants the government to protect us from corporations."

That's it in a nutshell.

 :mental:

The difference between the Tea Party and the clOWns is, we want the government to leave us alone and let us earn a living and take care of ourselves, the OWS just want a whole bunch of free stuff paid for by people in the Tea Party.

2. The tea party only protests Republicans, OWS is protesting both parties.

I think many voters and observers can see that difference too.

 :lmao: :lmao:

I seriously doubt that decent civilized people are going to give much thought to a group of people who are mainly out there to score free food and cheap drugs, and then they shit and piss all over the place.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

This whole tiny thread is incoherent.  I have no idea what they're saying.  The only post that I could make any sense of was No. 4, who said "K&R."

The Health Dept should shut it down, before the whole city gets dysentary.

I'll go with personal hygiene and a job for a thousand Alex.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

As far as I know, this is our very first hot tub bouncy.

In a universe of hundreds of crazy, imaginative bouncy tales, this is the first one set in a hot tub.

Congratulations to unterprimitiven spinbaby, a prole I've never heard of before.

There is a similarity with the Tea Party and OWS. The members of the Tea Party want to keep their money, and the OWS also wants to keep the money of the members of the Tea Party.
“Don’t vote for the person who tells you you deserve something. Just don’t do it if it’s something other than life, liberty, or the pursuit of possible happiness. If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe

Nah, the difference is the Tea Party took 63 of your Senate seats in 2010.  The only thing OWS will take is a shit on a cop car.

Am I missing something?  Aside from the Miller-AK debacle, we took 63 seats, yes?

House?

Double-checked.  It was 60 House seats, and 6 Senate seats.

Yep it was house seats if we had taken 63 Senate seats Harry Reid would be unemployed.  :-)

It would have been seven Senate seats if that crazy I'm-not-a-witch woman would have shut up and sat down.

But the main difference is that the Tea Party got a bunch of people elected, while this hippie mob is going to get a bunch of people tossed out of office.

The democrat party is going to pay a high price for bedding down with these moonbats.

There's a segment of extremely stupid but otherwise normal people who vote democrat out of habit who are going to desert the dems wholesale when they see them encouraging the rabble.

Likely, but damn it, not enough of them.  Plenty of them, but not enough of them.

Lots and lots and lots of them, but again damn it, not all of them.
