Just a shout to the brave Omaha Steve.

They didn't have it.

Either Omaha's Ed Norton jumped the gun on some announcement, misfiring, or the occupoopers decided Sunday wouldn't be a good day, and moved it to this coming Saturday.

It could be either case, as Omaha Steve does have a habit of jumping the gun before something's final.

Also, my good friend Steve had the location all wrong.

Occupy Omaha protest planned

Anti-Wall Street protesters are planning to march in downtown Omaha.

About 50 members of Occupy Omaha met Sunday afternoon to discuss the march, scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday. The group is planning to march from the City-County Building, 1819 Farnam St., to the Federal Reserve Bank at 2201 Farnam St. They might also venture farther downtown, into the Old Market, and pass several major bank branches along the way.

I've always wondered if other people have noticed the same thing I've noticed about the primitives.

Omaha's Ed Norton made this really big announcement about occupooping 72nd & Dodge Streets in Omaha last Saturday.

I had a funny feeling, an intuitive sense, about that announcement.

Many times, a primitive will announce something that hasn't been thought of yet, or is still in the "planning" stage.  The primitive'll announce it as if it's a done deal, this is what's going to happen.

It's as if the primitives think, "Well, if I say something I want to happen, it'll come true, it'll happen."

The Bostonian Drunkard of course being the prime example.

Anti-Wall Street protesters are planning to march in downtown Omaha.

About 50 members of Occupy Omaha met Sunday afternoon to discuss the march, scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday. Occupy Omaha, like similar groups in other cities across the country, is an extension of the Occupy Wall Street movement that started in New York City last month targeting what members call "corporate greed." Organizers dub it a leaderless movement and say they want the federal government to do something about corruption and profiteering by large corporations.

"We have to stand in solidarity and try to bring about some change here in the Midwest," said Hollie McClay, an Occupy Omaha member who facilitated Sunday's meeting at McFoster's Natural Kind Cafe, 302 S. 38th St

Speaking of stuff that didn't happen, Van Jones had announced that something spectacular was going to happen on Monday, 10/10.  What was it?  Did anybody catch it?  It was supposed to leap the progressive movement greatly forward, or something.   :???:

I got the day off?  I don't think that would've helped them though, since it was raining and I stayed in.   :-)

The DUmmies were yammering on about that hacker group anonymous saying they were going to erase the NYSE from the internet yesterday, that may be what he was talking about.
